Is very very good. But why does it have to be on so late? It's bad enough trying to stay awake at that time anyway without having to follow complicated plot.

Am still really enjoying it, especially Campbell Scott who I've never really liked before. And the wonderful Lily Tomlin.

Loved Patty's son pretending he's got a job whilst in fact he's farting about being 'an artist' and his cradle-snatching girlfriend is pregnant ... what's that all about, then?!

Waiting till his child is born to tell his mother and then not allowing her to be part of her grandchild's life? I could see that happening. He is her son after all.

It took me ages to recognise Lily Tonlin with that wig. I kept wondering where I'd seen the actress before- it was bugging me so much until I actually caught her name in the credits.
I've like Campbell Scott since Singles so it's always nice to see him on TV. As well as Shelley from Twin Peaks. Talk about blast from the past!

Who is Tobias? I clocked him and Tom staring at each other, but wasn't sure what the significance was - I assumed it was something to do with Tom being furious that he'd lost all his money?

tobias is the one who stole/lost all his cilents money - yet squirreled some away for his own family

patty is working on behalf of those who lost money/attorneys office to try and prosecute him+find the money

I knew it sounded odd when Blondes typed it, but couldn't get the right name through pg brain fog!!

Patty doesn't yet know that Tom has lost all of his money so that's presumably why he's still there. I think that the look between them may have been because Tobin recognized Tom's name from financial documents and found it odd to find him in the meeting?! OR maybe it's something more sinister and is linked to his death....

It would be odd that Tobin would recognise Tom's name.
From what he explains his money was invested through a fund that passed the money on to Tobin (if that makes any sense).
I doubt Tobin would personally keep track of all 2nd hand investors.

I didnt pick up on it, I just assumed Tom looked at him like that because Tobin had lost all his money. I didnt read anything more into it. Has the guy come back from the jazz bar in the first episode? And, what difference did it make whether the son hit the bottle again or not, why were they going to kill him if he did?

maybe if he got drunk he would talk and tell someone about the money tobian squirreled away?

plus was going to kill mistress .....
