I will be watching, it's had some very good reviews and I think it's an interesting topic - I believe an element of it is focusing on whether or not rehabilitation and release is possible.

Ok... that was a kneejerk reaction perhaps..

But WTF's the point in this peadophile prison? Seems to me alls it is is a meeting place for the peverted to jerk off to one anothers sick fantasties. 70% of them in there refuse to acknowledge they have a problem and won't take part in a treatment programme. They don't want to be rehabilitated, and as thus are still a danger to children.

what seems very clear is that given that more people get out on legal appeal rather than through the therapy programme, the 30% that are on the therapy programme have something other than getting out as a priority.

this is so tricky.

so you know i wouldn't let the guy with the ballet painting near minors. ever.

however, I also don't see that shaming these people helps anyone. the social worker was right. the didn't choose this. they just didn't, in the same way that I didn't choose to be attracted to adult males.

this is tremendously sad.
