Sorry for the delay - internet went down just as I clicked create conversation....

OP posts:
Gizmo · 07/07/2008 11:49

Ah Meg, thank God I'm not on my own here. Gotta remember there is a real world out there, and go cold turkey .

Except for the fact my dealer has scored me some high quality Tennant-on-stage substances, which may set me back a bit later in the summer

Gizmo · 07/07/2008 11:53

Kay, at least fanfic is actively participating in creating something. I've now reached a sad state of dependency where I just want someone to feed me my next hit.

PerseRaniSnape · 07/07/2008 11:59

rose tyler - how ungrateful! she ditches poor mickey to fan-dan around the universe, then gets a face on her when she thinks 'pretty' doctor is regenerating into someone else then gets what she wants in teh form of a human doctor who will live out his life with her and then breaks a snog to run off after original doctor who doesn't even look over his shoulder as he strolls off in the tardis. please never bring her back again!

binary!binary!binary!binary!binary!binary!I'm all right!

MegReally · 07/07/2008 12:09

ah yes she did seem annoyed when he was going to regenerate didn't she?

how pissed off would she have been to climb into the Tardis and find he was changing into Sylvester McCoy

stay with the other bloke I say. Though he will go bald. I'd put money on it

KayHarker · 07/07/2008 12:18

lol - yes, Rose is a self-centred wotsit, as well as being all brave and stuff. That's why she's a good character. I like a good character flaw, I do.

The Doctor didn't stroll back to the TARDIS though, he practically ran, bless him.

MegReally · 07/07/2008 12:27

also she would have done Capt Jack if she'd had half a chance

edam · 07/07/2008 12:35

Be fair, though, wouldn't we all do Captain Jack, given half a chance?

RustyBear · 07/07/2008 12:37

"an empty-nester maybe. Who goes travelling with the doctor instead of doing an Open University degree or becoming an alcoholic"

DS already at Uni, DD hopefully going in October, DH is a massive Who fan,so he wouldn't mind.... looks like I'm fully qualified!

Where do I apply?

serenity · 07/07/2008 12:41

Fic is not a waste of time

If there wasn't fic I'd have to do housework, or connect with DCs or something. I'd have to talk to DH in the evening

Kay - I don't know the etiquette on LJ (as I only joined it recently) but I've 'friended' (flisted?) you so I can stalk keep up with your fic. Are you meant to ask first, or do you just do it?

PerseRaniSnape · 07/07/2008 12:51

the beauty of captain jack is that you're more or less guarenteed at least a quick grope as long as you have the essential requirement of having just a faint pulse.

rose and sylvetester mccoy!

KayHarker · 07/07/2008 12:56

serenity, ah, that was you was it? yes, that's ne problem, although I don't tend to post to my journal so much as the various communities. Probably should actually, that'd solve the format problem.

But that's faffing with techie stuff when I could be writing

MegReally · 07/07/2008 13:15

where is the fic porn? I think I am ready for it now. It's past noon, well past snogging time.

TennantbellesMum · 07/07/2008 13:24

Has anyone else noticed that The Doctor gets younger each time? Makes you worry what he will look like in a few hundred years time!

Kay, you'll have to have a list of links somewhere so we can browse them, I've only read two so far, but impressed with what I've read.

RustyBear · 07/07/2008 13:32

Just answering Blu's cyberman question hread & came across this which I missed during Series 2

ReverseThePolarity · 07/07/2008 13:33

Yes iirc wasn't it linked into one of the games they had from the main bbc site?

KayHarker · 07/07/2008 13:55

I've done up to mild smut, the erm, more overt stuff is going to be in the next chapter. Which I'm not writing while my 7 year old "I can read now, mummy!" girl is looking over my shoulder!

But will probably have a go at tonight because I shall be on my own. I think I'm going to have to collate them all and stick them in one place, I'm really not very organized about online fic. (Which is bizarre, I have colour-coded folders for my other stuff, I just post fanfic into the ether)

Elffriend · 07/07/2008 14:12

Okay so help me out here! I'm crap at finding my way round youtube etc. and I NEED to see the kiss again - is there a link that someone can give me to the bit in Confidential?

Suffering horrible withdrawal symptoms here! Feel like DT has left me - personally!
Sob!

Thanks for the fic Kay - look forward to the next chapter

Gizmo · 07/07/2008 14:15

Can I just point out for the theatrically inclined that the RSC has decided to extend the run of Hamlet with six weeks in London, beginning December, and that public ticket sales open in September?

But you'll have to move fast, if the Stratford production is anything to go by the tickets will be gone very quick.

KayHarker · 07/07/2008 14:16

Because I can

thewiltedrose · 07/07/2008 14:18

Mines better

MegReally · 07/07/2008 14:20

MegReally · 07/07/2008 14:20

sorry uk.youtube.com/watch?v=upZr7MLfieE

Gizmo · 07/07/2008 14:24

And how much am I hoping that Gregory Doran will somehow find a way to work nudity into Hamlet?

MegReally · 07/07/2008 14:26

I am getting bored of that kiss now. That's probably a good sign, isn't it? I might be able to reconnect with real life soon.

Gizmo · 07/07/2008 14:31

Very good sign, MR. Real life re-entry in 10....9....8...
