Sorry for the delay - internet went down just as I clicked create conversation....

OP posts:
Elffriend · 07/07/2008 14:32

Thank you! Also find it on BBC - it is better on confidential, you're right.

Am now going to sit and sob hysterically (again).

Actually, I'm growing seriously concerned about myself - I'm mutating into a teenager and am definitely in love with the Doctor/DT.

Even DH admitted that the finale (last 2) was brilliant - and he doesn't even want to rip off all the Doctor's clothes and ravish him 'til he's happy!

MegReally · 07/07/2008 14:50

oh yes we are real life agogo now. It is like my head and hands lit up with light and a new person emerged.....

hmm. we're not there yet then

serenity · 07/07/2008 14:59

Real life? Real.......life? What's that then?

Elffriend · 07/07/2008 15:03

Given a straight choice between my real life and going off in the Tradis with the Doctor...Tough call that.

. Oh no, wait. It's easy. Bye real life!!

Gizmo · 07/07/2008 15:08

Problem is, if you did go off with the Doctor in the Tardis, wouldn't that become 'real life' anyway? And where would you go then for your dose of escapism?

It's a similar question to what happens to Doc v2 and Rose, 10 years down the line, when they still love each other but his careless assumption that wearing the same suit day in, day out is acceptable and inability to stop fiddling with his PC and listen is going to drive her bats!

ZebsRoomofHerOwn · 07/07/2008 15:10

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I BLOODY LOVED Saturday's episode. Donna was brilliant - she definitely got better as the series progressed. And the rest of it was just fab. I shan't say any more, I guess you've all already said it a million times over.

serenity · 07/07/2008 15:15

Elffriend - just had to go and look at The Kiss on confidential (via iplayer) and OMG yes, it's much better (about 23 minutes in if anyone's interested ) Makes me want to go and watch Casanova again actually.

MegReally · 07/07/2008 15:19

no v2 doctor has no sonic screwdriver, so will start getting handy with real life spanners and do bits of DIY

he will get hands on and start wearing a tool belt and possibly develop upper arm definition

JackieNo · 07/07/2008 15:21

Ooh I say, Meg .

Gizmo · 07/07/2008 15:34

Possibly Meg, but, and I hate to say this, I have a horrid feeling that Doc v2 is going to get seriously into ... software development.

MadamePlatypus · 07/07/2008 15:37

Doctor 10.2 means that David Tennant could return to the series even if the doctor regenerates.

Maybe future doctor 10.1 would have some big problem that only 10.2 could solve using his well developed upper arm definition.

MadamePlatypus · 07/07/2008 15:38

Sorry, doctor 11 or 12, not future doctor 10.1.

MadamePlatypus · 07/07/2008 15:41

No doctor 10.2 will not work in software. He will go and work at Torchwood. Captain Jack seems to have been able to maintain very, very strong upper arm definition whilst working there - they must have a gym or something.

Gizmo · 07/07/2008 15:42

Probably all that fisting the pterodactyl. Does wonders for the biceps, I hear

JackieNo · 07/07/2008 15:43

lol Gizmo.

Oh Dior, if you haven't seen the whole thing then run, don't walk, to Amazon and purchase.

It is both amazing and quite possibly the sexiest damn thing I have ever seen on TV. And DT is very nearly out-acted by David Morrissey: fabulous performances all round.

serenity · 07/07/2008 15:59

Buy it! Definitely don't watch the entire 6 hours (or whatever it is) in 10 minute chunks on YouTube (I was impatient, I couldn't wait for the DVDs to arrive )

It is very very good

Ah yes, David Tennant grabbing the bedhead in Blackpool.

And he so will work for Torchwood, Rose does. But he's going to be a bit gobbier, through the influence of Donna. And the blue suit dies. And he's going to have lots of sex, thankyou very much.

Gizmo · 07/07/2008 16:02

LOL at Serenity. That's exactly what I did! And got very guilty about it, too, because DS1 kept wandering in just as things were getting hot between DT and Sarah Parrish and I would shoo him out into the garden to 'play.' .

Gizmo · 07/07/2008 16:04

Oh God, I've just flashed back on that first 'date' scene in Blackpool.

I cannot now function at work. Official melt down in progress.

TennantbellesMum · 07/07/2008 16:05

Doctor 10.2 means that David Tennant could return to the series even if the doctor regenerates.

Since when did that stop them?

MadamePlatypus · 07/07/2008 16:07

Yes, that blue suit does need to meet with a terrible accident.

JackieNo · 07/07/2008 16:08

More links to the Blackpool stuff, please - I know someone linked either earlier, or on the previous thread, but I wasn't able to watch them then, and forgot to bookmark them.
