Sorry for the delay - internet went down just as I clicked create conversation....

I want to know what Billie Piper has done to her face - is it only me that thinks she looked very strange? And her voice sounded different. Or is there some celebrity gossip that I've missed?

We think she's done something to her teeth.

Billie Piper has had veneers on her teeth and hasn't got used to them yet. It was irritating dh so he looked it up.

Fab episode, I hadn't seen last weeks so watched them back to back, how great were they?

WHat am I going to do on a sat night now?

LAst night was fantasti, the four of us were engrossed.
Agree about Donna not being interested enough in good looking man in the room, she should have been
' well hello, who have we here?' Would have been much more like her..

I thought it was fantastic.
I'm glad Rose got tidied up with the other dr and the Dr Who is still lonely and available.

I spotted Donnas ring sparkle at the end and think Catherine Tate was only brilliant and wish they would bring her back. I so enjoyed her in it last night.

I hate the thought of a new doctor...and James Nesbitt I hope not. I'm NIrish so he is totally unexotic to me.

loved the episode but at the same time I quipped to DH that I was still waiting for the dolpins to fly off and say "so long...."
its funny though I hated Donna until the last few episodes and now that I don't totally loath her she is "gone" ...

right then nothing more to watch on the saturday night...

I was hoping Donna was the new Doctor, would have been fun.
Was i the only one in tears when the doctor was telling her Mum how brilliant she had been?

But remember, Donna always went on about how she never fancied the Doctor (when she was with him I mean) and he was too skinny for her etc. - so she probably wouldn't have noticed him in her living room if he wasn't her type...

I felt so awful for Donna. When you compare what Rose got - her own Doctor, her family all reunited - with what Donna ended up with - nothing, no memories, back to her old "shouting at the world" self - not even Lee to console her. So .

I squeeeed at the kiss though on Bad Wolf Bay.

The Dr that Rose ended up with was less attractive. It felt like she had settled for his twin brother as she couldn't have the one she really wanted, which was a bit sad (and desperate).

Ooh - and when we saw the 2 doctors together, I suddenly understood Dalek Caan's thing about 'the threefold man' - the third one was Donna, of course.

I thought Rose and the second dr were a good match. I think the Rose character isn't big enough for the real Dr Who. I've never been convinced by their romance (too jealous perhaps )
It would have to be someone extraordinary and not totally human to match him in my eyes.
If Catherine Tate had been the next Dr Who I wouldn't have minded because another man is going to have trouble following DT. And she has that zany craziness necessary for the Dr character. I think she was a brilliant time lord hybrid. I'm still really sad that she couldn't stay that way

I liked her slightly patronizing comment to Jack while everyone was flying the tardis - "well done Jack, you're doing that really well" tee hee.

When she made Jck hug her!! LOL!

Poor Donna, Jack that will do anything wouldn't even hug her!

so glad they didn't regenerate DT, and even happier that rose gets to walk off into the sun set with him.

didn't like the catherine tate being the dr thou, althou did like the other dr who had a bit of her!

Who had the idea of Donna/Madonna? If he used her DNA then she kind of is his mother
