Sorry for the delay - internet went down just as I clicked create conversation....

OP posts:
Gizmo · 11/07/2008 17:43

I'm now getting a clear image of Richard Briers looking outraged.

"Margot!"

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 17:45

Oh, I agree, it wouldn't have gone like that in the actual episode. It was just a nicer focus on the connection between Rose and 10.5 which made it all a bit less bleh at the end. There just should have been more of everything in the actual episode.

Including Donna I've halted my hero's death for her, I've made it far too sad and it's all a bit much. No, fluffy for me, methinks.

About the pyjamas - you are writer and a bit of a geek, we're not frumpy, we are charmingly eclectic in dress-sense. Actually, I'm doing a bit of a military thing today, with a green t-shirt and black trousers. Black trousers were a bad move, they're covered in talcum powder. But yes, hair back in a no-nonsense ponytail and I hardly ever wear lipstick or eyeliner.

I can't backflip though a laser web either, but then neither can Georgia Moffet, not really

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 17:48

good grief, we've moved on to The Good Life porn??

motherinferior · 11/07/2008 17:50

We appear to have slid into it, Kay. We need our tone raised. So to speak.

MegReally · 11/07/2008 17:52

Oh the power of the internet. You can sit there all innocent believing I look 'charmingly eclectic' on a day when I seem to be channelling Onslo from Keeping Up Appearances. (please no slash suggestions)

the Granville thing is making me feel ill. UQD, while I appreciate your manly presence here is one of the few things stopping this thread from actually hiring a pink limo and driving hopefully around Cardiff, I do do wish you hadn't said that

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 17:58

A quick search for @Granville Slash' turned up this

MadamePlatypus · 11/07/2008 18:00

"actually hiring a pink limo and driving hopefully around Cardiff"

Surely there is scope for this idea to be turned into a real film. It would be a Britflick, part "Bend it like Beckham", part "Calendar Girls". I think Catherine Tate would even star in it.

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 18:00

Pish, MegReally, I'm not having this, we're all adorable.

MegReally · 11/07/2008 18:01

I quite fancy a go at Paul Eddington

I imagine our gasps and screams reaching a crescendo along with the squawking of the chickens

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 18:07

Nobody liked the Granville slash? My favourite bit if the suggestion that they 'go outside so that other people can enjoy the establishment'

MegReally · 11/07/2008 18:07

oh then www.cardifflimo.co.uk/#/pinklimoscardiff/4519040773

just let me get out of these pyjamas

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 18:08

MadameP, I want CT to be a MNer.

TinkerBellesMum · 11/07/2008 18:09

Zippy and George isn't that hard to think about when you watch the episodes back.

"that Jenny lass DT is currently doing"

Apparantly he's not anymore.

Maybe we could have a MN meet in Cardiff during filming?

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 18:10

Well, I could feasibly get hold of filming dates, but a pink limo might be a bit conspicuous...

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 18:13

pictures DT filming against gree screen in a Cardiff street and a pink limo pulls into shot

MegReally · 11/07/2008 18:13

he's done with her already? Christ he moves fast.

Actually I'm not very impressed with that.

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 18:14

That last post needs an extra 'n', you can put it in yourselves, I'm tired.

MegReally · 11/07/2008 18:22

oh kay, it's fine, don't worry. We can all wear disguises

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 18:28

bagsy the pink.

MegReally · 11/07/2008 18:31

see, we can blend right in

actually I look forward to reading your version of this highly sophisticated new plot twist

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 18:36

BTW, Gizmo, when are ye going to Hamlet? I have balcony seating, which should hold me back a little.

Because that's not at all disturbing, is it?

KayHarker · 11/07/2008 18:37

MegReally, I'm tempted to write crack now, for the first time ever

Dior · 11/07/2008 18:41

MegReally · 11/07/2008 18:53

god the audience for Hamlet must have gone through the roof - I take it you are all in it for the Shakespear?

just like when I consented to watch Kung Fu Hustle with dh based purely on the appearance of this photo in the Radio Times

I hope you are not all as disappointed as I was, as the outfit in question appeared for 3 minutes at the end of the film

it was a good film though, surprisingly
