Sorry for the delay - internet went down just as I clicked create conversation....

OP posts:

I'm afraid the full series has now been taken down, Jackie. Seems the BBC got a bit litigious

serenity · 07/07/2008 16:10

Blue suit - mehh

Tight Maroon TShirt -

PersephoneSnape · 07/07/2008 16:15

blue suit will explore his humanity with the sympathetic slightly younger, thinner and blonder childless woman from accounts when Rose is pregnant with her second set of twins. Either that or he will tire of her constantly harping on about how brown suit didn't do it like that, brown suit did it like this, he'll never be half the man that brown suit was and she could have had a career, travelling time and space with brown suit, but for that pesky heart of the tardis and brown suits inability to commit. two hearts!? PAH!

No worries - have found enough to keep me happy for now.

Gizmo · 07/07/2008 16:19

LOL at Persephone.

Please keep going. It's pulling me out of my post Who slump brilliantly!

KayHarker · 07/07/2008 16:33

Obviously my stories are going to end with them both getting incredibly bloated from eating chips, and they will end up a bit like Lou and Andy from Little Britain, with Rose in the I'm-actually-just-lazy wheelchair, and the Doctor experimenting with faun coloured leather bomber-jackets.

Gizmo · 07/07/2008 16:36

at faun coloured leather jackets.

I'm wondering if the Doctor might become rather unhealthily obsessed with naval history...

PersephoneSnape · 07/07/2008 16:44

thank you - should have a 'what would whoniverse characters post on MN thread'.

Rose: 'he's so distant! head in the clouds...'

TennantbellesMum · 07/07/2008 16:51

psst

Just looked on mininova and you can get Blackpool, but there's not that many people with it so could take awhile to download.

PortAndLemon · 07/07/2008 17:20

On a random tangent, if Captain Jack went through the incinerator after the Daleks had "killed" him, shouldn't he have been a naked Captain Jack to add to the naked Doctor earlier in the episode? Or are his clothes some kind of wibbly-wobbly asbestosy-westosy stuff?

ExTARDISgirl · 07/07/2008 17:32

My fella's just come back from travelling, and he's really different. He was always affectionate, but he never really told me how he felt. Since he's come back, he's really opened up, but he's also started shouting stuff like 'Wizard!' sarcastically.

He hasn't got his transport anymore, either, and he used to rub that as much as me. Should I be worried?

MegReally · 07/07/2008 17:43

lol at asbestosy-westosy

can anyone remember [elderly] how the end of the world was stopped by Martha? I can't remember. I mean I can remember all the global shouting and the running about with a paediatrician but I can't remember how it stopped stuff

also are we sure there isn't another doctor in the parallel universe? why not? how do we know?

JackieNo · 07/07/2008 17:45

It was a kind of Tinkerbelle-esque 'Believe in the Doctor' thing, wasn't it?

JackieNo · 07/07/2008 17:45

ie, she got loads of people all over the world to think good stuff about him, and it gave him strength ('I DO believe in fairies').

MegReally · 07/07/2008 17:46

ah

I really want to write my own story now. I really do.

TennantbellesMum · 07/07/2008 17:58

Humans are very powerful and when all the people focus on one thing all at the same time there is a lot of power in that thought.

It was said on screen at some point there is no Doctor there and RTD did explain about Torchwood as someone else said.

MegReally · 07/07/2008 18:00

thanks, you are all very knowledgeable and obviously hold far more information in your head than I do - I would never make a Time Lord. In fact if I had been Donna I wouldn't need to have my memory erased as it would all have gone within an hour or two and I would be calling the Tardis 'The Thingy'

PersephoneSnape · 07/07/2008 18:09

donna: I feel really unfulfilled. there must be more to life than just being a temp. My grandad hasn't been very well, i think he's going senile - he looks up in the sky a lot at night time and starts saying things to me, then he seems to forget what he's saying and changes the subject. My mum is being really difficult as well - she keeps saying that i can do so much better for myself. maybe i should go travelling?

KayHarker · 07/07/2008 18:39

It wasn't quite as rubbish as 'everyone thinking the same thing at the same time is very powerful'.

It was the whole of humanity connected by the psychic field created by the Master via the Archangel satellite network. The Doctor tuned himself in, via his psychic capabilities, and focused the thought energy at the right moment, timed with countdown, which he knew the Master would be unable to resist.

None of which makes it less wank. But it wasn't just RTD suddenly believing in fairies. Although that thought is now amusing me greatly...

TennantbellesMum · 07/07/2008 18:42

Oh yes, I'd forgotten about the Archangel Network.

JackieNo · 07/07/2008 18:44

Ah yes, I thought there must have been more to it.

RustyBear · 07/07/2008 18:47

This is currently my wallpaper.....

MegReally · 07/07/2008 18:49

what - in your house?

RustyBear · 07/07/2008 18:57

Yes of course, I printed it out thousands of times & put it all over my walls.

It's on my desktop
