He comes back home next week in a wheelchair. The NHS may not provide the type of wheelchair that’s best for Jordan, and the house would have to be adapted for him. Private physio. DLA isn’t much. I agree it’s an interesting story but I hope they don’t write Sheila as a villain (they probably will).

The actress is 80 but does look younger.

No way does that actress look 80 😲 Her hair is amazing for her age! It's only her hands that look older.

the80sweregreat · 19/06/2026 12:49

The Foxes have already said that Jordan can sleep downstairs, but not sure if they have a bathroom there.
The whole house will have to be adapted for a wheelchair. I admit I didn’t think of that aspect of it all , plus a lot of other people live there too.
It is daunting isn’t it and he’ll only get the basic equipment on the NHS and some physio.

Shellingbynight · 19/06/2026 12:50

She said she hates Gray but she lovingly stroked his photo at the end of the episode, so she looks fairly villainous.

They would need temporary adaptations like ramps and handrails but you wouldn't do any major adaptations for a child who may be walking within a couple of months. OT would do an assessment and provide all equipment. The NHS would provide physio although possibly not enough for Chelsea's liking.

She was stroking the picture of Gray...

Yes I know, I meant it would be good if they could not make her a 100% villain i.e she loves her grandchild and grandchild or that she’s had a trauma or lonely…I don’t know, maybe Gray has coerced her? Anything so that she’s not a witch!

True, they managed it with Josh's adoptive mum.

Shellingbynight · 19/06/2026 14:26

It's such a weird storyline. Sheila sent cards and cheques for years but didn't attempt any other contact. Now suddenly after a phone call she pounces, you'd think she would put more effort into her evil deeds😆

murasaki · 19/06/2026 14:35

True, she knew where they lived in order to send the letters and cheques..

I reckon she'll use her legal experience to force Chelsea to take Jordan into prison. Maybe stashing something in his wheelchair to get Chelsea convicted and get custody herself.

OK, maybe that's maybe a reach too far .... 😂

the80sweregreat · 19/06/2026 14:46

Chelsea obviously had her post forwarded on by the post office service they offer and possibly the Mitchell’s as well. She was being organized I suppose . Which after all the trauma of having Jordan and finding out Gray was a serial killer is impressive!
It is odd that Great Nan hasn’t turned up before now , but there you go. Jordan has never met her far as we know, not even when he was born.

the80sweregreat · 19/06/2026 14:48

Didn’t Penny stash some drugs in her wheelchair and got Lauren into trouble in Paris on the way home ?
Or something like that!

Oh yes! But they do like to recycle plot devices....

the80sweregreat · 19/06/2026 15:02

Yep, they definitely recycle the stories! I can see this Sheila doing something like that. Not just hand over money without being manipulative or evil about it.
She will want Gray to see Jordan at some stage.

Shellingbynight · 19/06/2026 15:16

80s, Chelsea said Nicola had been passing the cards on to her. Surely Evil Sheila must have known Gray sold the house in 2024, but maybe she thought post would be forwarded on. (Why do I expect it to make sense!?)

the80sweregreat · 19/06/2026 15:31

Oh I didn’t hear that. Good old Nicola !
Most people just use the post office redirection thing , but if you only move across the road .. lol

And none of those cheques were cashed !
They are only valid 6 months , she must've wondered why they were bounced back to her ?

the80sweregreat · 19/06/2026 15:37

She just didn’t cash them in did she. Great Nan didn’t chase it up and Jordan missed out on some cash. She could have opened up an account for him too. Those cheques are now obsolete.
I do like the banking app that lets you cash in your own cheques by scanning rhem. It’s so clever and easy.
The days of machines in the bank or waiting for a cashier, you can do it yourself on your phone.
( I know it’s taking jobs , but it saves time)

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 19/06/2026 15:42

I did Hmm at Libby shoving a square card into her jeans bum pocket .
Oh because that isn't the least bit obvious is it Squiggle ? And she's the clever one .

She mentioned Darren - as in Miller . Are they still together then.

Southeastdweller · 19/06/2026 15:48

My mum is 78 is quite comfortably off and doesn’t trust online banking, but very aware of scammers. So I can believe Sheila sending cheques and not bothering to check if they’ve been cashed.

OP posts:
the80sweregreat · 19/06/2026 15:57

Libby and Darren Miller are on / off she said. Chelsea just rolled her eyes. Does he see George at all , his son ? I’d like him to come back to get revenge on Ben for killing off his mum.

Shellingbynight · 19/06/2026 16:02

I suppose Sheila was sending the cheques in the hope of them being accepted, but if they weren't it didn't really matter, there was nothing should could do about that. But she didn't even seem to know Gray had sold the house two years ago, so....

the80sweregreat · 19/06/2026 16:09

It’s amazing that you can sell a house from jail, but you can apparently!

the80sweregreat · 19/06/2026 16:16

I like the fact that Libby went to Oxford and had made something for herself. She has done better away from the square than hanging around. They usually do though, it’s the coming back that sets off the angst.

Shellingbynight · 19/06/2026 17:48

I wonder why they decided to make Libby a therapist. She always seemed more academically inclined rather than people-focussed. She's also quite judgy which is the opposite of what a therapist is supposed to be!

I think it was used as a way to get the twins on the same side. Badly, mind.

Very badly done. head in hands
