Yes, let’s hope an old school friend knows something about Bea.

It is irritating though (as I’ve said before) by casting RA as Bea (and it not working out) they’ve missed a Linda/old school friend friendship opportunity and paired Bea with Honey and that whole storyline from start to finish was so unnecessary and unbelievable (unBEAleavable even). It would be good for Linda to have a good pal, like Michelle and Sharon in the past.

UnBEAlivable !! Love this ! it has been far fetched.
As much as I like Will, he isn’t the best actor for this either, but it’s nice he is trying to bring Billy home and help and maybe Linda will too.

Will has improved somewhat but he’s a bit gormless (sorry to the actor).

Like I said before, anyone but RA playing this (and she’s (and therefore Bea) been ousted earlier than planned apparently) could’ve really made it a meaty part and storyline. But it just seemed so far fetched.

But didn’t Bea just get turfed out by the landlord? So Linda and Honey would have no idea who he was.

I think Linda spoke to him when she followed Bea there at the start.

They tracked Bea down and the landlord was putting her bags out on the street.
If L can remember where they went , she could go and see him. Or maybe she’ll recall an old friend and ring rhem up ?

Oh yes it was Sober Socials, that is why Linda was at Phil's.

I don't understand where the Gray/Sheila stuff is going, it seems to exist for the thrill of 'oh look here's villain Gray in jail'. Every scene is the same, Sheila oversteps, Chelsea fires her, Sheila throws money at her, Chelsea takes her back. This producer loves plots circling endlessly, and bringing back past characters for no good reason.

Almost as bad were Suki and the child. Suki tempting her with food with stories of Jagvir's reluctance to eat. Jagvir certainly didn't look undernourished, but it had to be Jagvir because they are trying to pull the heartstrings with it being the anniversary of his death (his death that she is responsible for because she fitted him up for jail). Poor child.

Some odd stories next week with Honey being abducted by Bea and Priya ending up in the back of a car boot Lauren is driving after another tryst with Max at the arches.

Seems a lot going on.( None of it sounds remotely believable either!)

So next week will likely see the end of Bea's involvement in the square and not a moment too soon.

Bea tries to make out that Billy has killed her I think ( reading between the lines )
Why oh why is Max getting involved with Priya at all ? He should have left her alone from the start. He never learns does he !

I must be seeIng things or something but I thought in yesterday's episode that was a different person Sheila saw, but I thought was Gray. Am I going mad? Because she saw Gray today as well. And it seemed a new visit.

The Priya story won’t end well.

Sheila has seen Gray twice. She manages to get a visiting permit the same day.
The second visit he did look different and had different hair I thought. Not as scruffy looking.
It’s definitely him though.

Do you mean he looked different? He seemed to have washed and combed his hair in the second visit!

@Southeastdweller thank goodness for that, I cannot take any more of Bea!

Why would a woman in her 80s or whatever want to kidnap her great grand son? It’s good she is helping out , but clearly has more to it than just concern / money!
I am not sure that many people would be willing to help out a serial killer somehow, but in tv dramas they often do. It’s a mystery.

@the80sweregreat Sheila isn’t kidnapping anyone (yet).

I just think she might be building up to doing something along those lines.. she is being manipulated by Gray.
In the meantime we have Bea’s exit looming! Which won’t be a bad thing.

Practically though, how is a 80 year old woman going to kidnap a Young child in a wheelchair who needs full assistance for transfers etc.?

I agree, it's impossible to see what Sheila wants out of this, other than contact with her grandson. It really feels like this cannot go anywhere. I suppose if Chelsea's family 'disown' her because of the Gray connection Sheila can step in and provide somewhere to live and shower her with money, but... so what.

I would be more interested in the story with Sheila if she’d tried to make contact with Jordan, or had been in touch with Gray and he’d been manipulating her. But no idea now why she’s in the show other than as an excuse for Ben Wadey to reintroduce Gray.

What can they do with Gray anyway isn't he locked up for life?

What became of the money that jumpers left for Jordan and her? It might be in a trust fund I suppose , but only people on here have remembered that he did this.

I was just thinking the same about Teddy's money. Easties mentioned it earlier didn't she. All forgotten apparently. Even if it was in a trust fund Chelsea could at least mention 'if only I could get that money'.

@Southeastdweller that is exactly how I feel, it would be more interesting if Gray had set all this up and Sheila was doing his bidding.

I suppose Sheila is trying to get Jordan and Gray in touch, but she may also (knowing EE) try to discredit Chelsea and go for custody. Gray is a master at coercive control and he seems in charge.
