Apologies for missing ye Friday. Was with the friend who had the surgery in Turkey. He was mentally struggling a bit. So catching up now.

Weirdly we had frozen pizza for tea that night. The goodfellas deep dish chicken was meh. But the ristorante thin crust mozzarella (which was proper with basil and tomato) was lovely!!

@ohwhatfuckery - my favourite pizza was also in Venice. In a place called Antico Forno.

The weirdest pizza you can get round here is a irish breakfast pizza or a spice bag pizza!!

@PotterHead1985 the dr oetker ristorante pizza are labelled crack pizzas by myself and a friend because despite being very cheap junk food, we can’t get enough of ‘em. Whereas goodfellas are minging. Like the very definition of the kind of cheap frozen pizza kids love.

the very best frozen pizzas are crosta and mollica. They are sublime!

Just finished watching the last three episodes (we've been away) - it looks as though the rest of this week's episodes are at 8 and there's no rugby competing either - hurrah!
I think there was one of those pizzas they could take a pizza wheel to and, presumably, cut slices off.
To me, a pizza is classic finger food; you should be able to hold the slices in your hand. All that fannying about with tiny bits of mushroom on a fork is not what I want from a pizza.
Surprised nobody mentioned Jeneh's burnt crust. They were all over the next one which was less burnt than hers.

Getting fed up with Daniel and his knowing everything about Welsh cooking. I certainly didn't know lava bread was traditionally served with pickled cockles. Freshly boiled cockles with lots of pepper, yes.

I won’t bore the thread with it but one of the most fascinating things I've read in recent years was a book called ‘The Lodger - Shakespeare in Silver Street' which had a whole chapter about the people who made Tudor head-dresses, or 'tires'. Genuinely enthralling and both Anna and Frankie would fit right in!
