I don’t think anyone had ever heard of basa except as food for cats until a few years ago when food companies realised they could try and persuade us humans that it was a delicious equivalent to cod and rake in lots more money

Cod is sea fish and delicious. Bassa is farmed in fresh water in Asia

I love learning about new foods, even if the consensus is to avoid them.
