I think most of these would fail that ultimate test.

These pizzas are really depressing. Stick with the classics, really thin crust and beautifully cooked. You can all put your olives and anchovies on mine.

I could do better myself with a Good Housekeeping dough recipe, some tomato puree and cheddar cheese.

I'll pick all the anchovies (and the artichokes) off my pizza and dole them out if I can have the olives.

I can't believe any of these people have made a pizza before. I'm not even sure they've eaten one.

Why are they making them do pizza? Is there a crumble week? Or a croquette week? Maybe a sandwich/toastie week? What a rubbish gimmick.

At least Antosh has made something that is almost a pizza.

Or eaten one. Or understood that pizza was originally a cheap filling food for poor people, basic easily sourced ingredients, quickly cooked.

What is the point if a sweet pizza? When one has had a filling main course (+/- a starter) one really doesn’t want a pizza for pudding! When would one eat a sweet pizza? It’s a horrible idea.

I have just remembered the Waynetta Slob episode where she entered the old Masterchef, the one where normal people cooked, and stood there doing nothing, until the pizza delivery she had pre ordered arrived!

Admittedly I’m late to this years MC, but good lord, Grace and Anna seem to have all the chemistry and charisma of Mick Fleetwood and Sam Fox hosting the Brits.
