Interior design masters new series - let the battle commence

The next series starts on the 21st April. Looking forward to banquettes, and bizarre paint choices, and upcycling of old junk. DD and I are rewatching the old series and I’d forgotten how crazy some of the rooms were!

Oh I vaguely remember Shane from previous years.

The guest designer clearly likes brown.

My builder was on Changing Rooms (the original series). He said everything was thrown together, the crew all got stuck in when not filming, and he and the other couple ripped everything out as soon as they could.

Nope, don't like Sophie rooms at all

I think Shane is not going to love Emmely use of the blue but I think the clients will

Better, but still nothing groundbreaking.

Go Emmeley! So much better than the other two.

A lot of brown in emmelys room but I like how she laid it out

I really liked the brown. But I'm a fan of layers of colours.

Emmeley's family room looks like Ikea. Same colours, same toys.

I don't like any of the rooms. I hate Emmerlys brown room. I think Emmerley is a gonna.

I really liked Lia’s player’s room.

Calibre of contestants has totally tanked. Can't really think of anything on this series that's been great. Feels like many of them have very little ability in interior design, by this stage we should be splitting hairs between three great designs, but instead, like most weeks it's a choice of which one is least shite.

Compare this series to previous years when the designers were capable and made great rooms.
