As we head towards the final stages, it's shopping TV up next - can the current bunch recreate the glory of James Max and the Wolf jacket? Will it be happy days or chuffin' hell?

The place for conversating about it all!

I forgot to say, it was nice last night to see Leah Totton briefly - the cosmetic surgeon who won a previous series with her aesthetics clinics - I wonder if she will mentor Karishma in the future. Dr Totton was a good advert for her business, she hadn't aged a bit!

But her face didn’t move - she looked weird

Kieran is apparently topped to be good on tv, presenting career or something. Can’t think where I read it, maybe here? He’s watchable.

I’m my no!!!! He’s got nothing

AlcoholicAntibiotic · 17/04/2026 19:24

He died of an asthma attack.

And he was way more entertaining than any of this year’s candidates.

Yes he was a prat but streets ahead of this lot

RIP Stuart 'the brand ' Baggs!

"I'm having to rein in my extreme masculinity!" is one of my all time favourite Apprentice quotes - said by Stuart when presented with a task involving driving Formula One cars.

In another task selling used cars, he assured a potential buyer that the used car he was considering was an investment that would appreciate in value over the years ... someone had to step in sharpish and disabuse the buyer of that notion (no, it was not a vintage Rolls Royce or Aston Martin, it was a Ford Focus or similar). 😂

Oh, he was a classic candidate and so sad that he died at such a young age.

I’m wondering if baggs the brand was Sam year as The Badger? 🦡

Eastereggschocolateisthebest · 17/04/2026 21:06

Here he is if you need reminding

Stuart Baggs “big fish in a little pond” RIP.

TheWeeDonkeyFella · 17/04/2026 23:08

Ah, I remember Stuart too. I still laugh at his response to be called a one-trick pony - "I'm not a one trick pony, I'm a whole field of ponies running towards this job". 😆
Was sad to hear when he passed suddenly.

Don’t be rude. I am on nothing. I personally don’t know that many men in therapy compared to women. At least he’s owned his addiction.

I now recall him. Funny guy.

So glad that Karishma won. I thought it could go either way and was so pleased for her. She was a stand out from the start and I think there would have been uproar if she hadn’t.

The Badger not winning was a travesty!

The Badger was robbed.

Pleased Karishma won. I’d also read about the filming of two different endings.

Stuart The Baggs, so sad the way he died.

The Badger was earlier, series 2. Baggs the Brand was series 6.

The best series ever in my opinion was series 4 with Raef 'the spoken word is my tool' Bjayou 😃

My Apprentice username is from the tissue advert task in series 4, it was what Raef's team branded their tissues as (they lost to the much catchier 'Atishu' campaign by the other team).

“What are you on” is a turn of phrase when you are shocked at something

With all due respect may say more about the type of men you are around or perhaps they aren’t saying - the numbers aren’t as low as you think

It also means or used to mean to sly dig to imply that you’re on drugs or something too. As well as shocked at something.

Maybe you’re right about the numbers of men in therapy. Personally the 2 men I knew in their 40s who ended their lives in the past 2-3 years, one was in and out of therapy (business owner) and I guess things just got too much for him, and the other just put his head in the sand and ignored it, didn’t go to therapy at all. Both married with kids. A lot of men I know would still die of embarrassment rather than admit they’re depressed. Let alone go to therapy. Or go to the pub to laugh it off. Middle class area in SE London for context.

If your post to me was so inoffensive, why have mods deleted it then?

Has anyone tried Karishma’s skincare product?

LaMarschallin · 18/04/2026 18:01

I've just caught up on the final and found the whole "let's make a face mask" odd.
I thought Karishma had her product - some rosehip extract - then all of a sudden was slinging various ingredients in random amounts into an emollient base. Was the rosehip stuff in there too?
I'd also have preferred her to go totally down the road of "this worked for me" without the added "I'm a biomedical scientist" and "It's great to be back in the lab". The little bits of skincare knowledge she imparted are in any glossy magazine.
I've got a friend who's a consultant dermatologist (a real, qualified doctor who has worked for years in dermatology) and even they wouldn't claim to know "everything about skincare".
I guess Karishma's a good salesperson and that's ultimately the most important thing in this process.

I think it's be a she can't actually advertise her product, so they had to do this pretend product basically.

It's like they're can't use their actual company names etc.

Ah!
I haven't watched it enough.
Thanks, @tnorfotkcab

And that’s how I meant it - shock

you don’t need to be depressed to go to therapy
