As we head towards the final stages, it's shopping TV up next - can the current bunch recreate the glory of James Max and the Wolf jacket? Will it be happy days or chuffin' hell?

The place for conversating about it all!

Oh god all the gushing from Karen - after she’s been amazed at their stupidity all the way along

agree with sugar Krishna is much more of a grafter - pasha was so Iappropriately dressed all the time

IHeartMyTissues · 16/04/2026 22:13

I don't think £250k would go far setting up a recruitment business from scratch. You've got loads of costs there - legal, insurance, content creation, payroll - and reserve funds because you'll pay your contractors before you get paid by the companies. Starting from nothing with £250k it just wouldn't happen.

Pascha's standout feature was her youth, and she has done exceptionally well for a 21 year old, but if you strip that out she was far behind Karishma in her performance.

Omg how can you think that there are like 18 year old entrepreneurs that show her right up - she’s got zero talent or skill

why on earth would you want to set up a recruitment business from scratch (on every high st already)

she wanted to call her business similar to “Wayne Kerr” - it’s laughable - she seems to have no idea and was the last person to realise “ankle”

IHeartMyTissues · 16/04/2026 22:20

Oooh, Baroness Brady has given Karishma permission to call her Karren 😆

The producers probably insist because of the syndication market - the titles have 'Brit Box' appeal so they make sure they're heard.

They won’t get anywhere if they didn’t tow the line - such narcissists they need it

I miss the days of the hour long You're Fired special which was always on BBC 1 with all the candidates and their families in the audience ... a bit of an anticlimax having the normal after show.

The right person won & I have her rosehip
Product in my hands right now!!
Someone I know tried to start a similar business to Pascha’s (not care homes) and it didn’t even get off the ground so he’s done the right thing.

Yes so miss it

and the big board table

and yes didn’t they have 3 genuine business people commenting on the episode first then candidates and family

it was so much better

do you think it’s budget cuts?

PinkFrogss · 16/04/2026 22:33

Karishma definitely deserved the win over Pascha, but I don’t feel like she’s very genuine - I can’t put my finger on why I feel that way though.

Does anyone know if they got to choose their outfits for the final presentation?

IHeartMyTissues · 16/04/2026 22:34

Well, the sun has set on Series 20 - not a classic series, but some memorable moments if only because most of the candidates were so useless.

Oh, well, only nine months to go before Series 21!😀

I should think so - their own clothes

DoesthislookgoodOnMe · 16/04/2026 22:50

My dd and myself were rooting for Karishima and we will be seeking out her products. Such an intelligent and capable young woman, she stood out week after week.

It was a win win with 2 women in the final.

Brownbananaspot · 16/04/2026 23:01

When Pascha's 'USP' was purely based on her repeating that she was 21 at every opportunity, I knew Karishma had it in the bag. The better woman won.

TheWeeDonkeyFella · 16/04/2026 23:19

Just reading an interview with Karishma in which she says "once the final is filmed, the contestants have “no idea who has won” and must wait up to six months to find out the results."

That sounds very strange - especially their reaction once they leave the boardroom, do they film two endings, as each winning? They can't return to film it once the result shared as their appearance continuity wouldn't work after six months surely.

I agree she didn’t really have a USP. She did keep going on about being 21 but then her marking was really dull and bland. She didn’t bring any personality to it. She also kept going on and and about bringing 1-2-1 attention to all her clients but then the obvious question would be how do you maintain that as a business expands and you’re not able to provide 1-2-1 personal services yourself but no one probed that at all. I wondered if it was because there was no chance she would win and they didn’t want to embarrass her because there was no substance to her. She may do her job as an employee very well but I never got the sense she knew how to scale it up and turn it in to a business.
