As we head towards the final stages, it's shopping TV up next - can the current bunch recreate the glory of James Max and the Wolf jacket? Will it be happy days or chuffin' hell?

The place for conversating about it all!

KishKin Skin - her business and personal tags on this screenshot.

Fab! Thank you 😀

I hate when sugar calls her baroness - get me a bucket - stroking each others gongs

I don't get why she wants to be called Karen some of the time but Baroness at other times. She seems totally inconsistent. You never really hear of other Baronesses insisting on being addressed as Baroness.

Villanousvillans · 17/04/2026 00:36

I’m so glad she won. Such a lovely charismatic woman, who definitely deserved the win.

StudyinBlue · 16/04/2026 23:28

I agree she didn’t really have a USP. She did keep going on about being 21 but then her marking was really dull and bland. She didn’t bring any personality to it. She also kept going on and and about bringing 1-2-1 attention to all her clients but then the obvious question would be how do you maintain that as a business expands and you’re not able to provide 1-2-1 personal services yourself but no one probed that at all. I wondered if it was because there was no chance she would win and they didn’t want to embarrass her because there was no substance to her. She may do her job as an employee very well but I never got the sense she knew how to scale it up and turn it in to a business.

It would definitely work as a small business. Maybe not scaled up though.

Yes true. I think Alan Sugar did ask Karishma how she would expand her business and scale up but not Pasha. It’s a legitimate question to ask how someone who is relying on personal 1-2-1 service how they plan on scaling up and maintaining the 1-2-1 aspect of their business.

sorryIdidntmeanto · 17/04/2026 07:08

It came across that Pascha had no idea herself how to make it work. She was asking Lord Sugar to start her a business, and I don't think she would have been much help at all. If he wants to get into healthcare or care or whatever, he can. He really doesn't need Pascha to be 21 and determined.
It was a funny series, as after about episode 1, it was pretty clear who the winner would be. The others were just decoration.

Feartieflo · 17/04/2026 08:12

I’ve been a lurker on this thread but in all the years of the apprentice, never have I been so pleased at the result and for this impressive, smart, and seemingly lovely young woman. I really wish her huge success.

IdentityCris · 17/04/2026 08:32

I must say, I can't see the attraction of having 1-1 monitoring for care staff from a 21 year old. Realistically, what can someone of that age know about the challenges of looking after people with complex physical and mental health problems, or who may have terminal illnesses, and other issues like dealing with their relatives etc?

I was slightly amazed by those recruitment people talking to Sugar sayig how wonderful she was on the basis of one presentation. Was there a bit off camera when they said "... but you'd be crazy to invest all that money in her"?

sorryIdidntmeanto · 17/04/2026 10:00

I reckon they wanted Dan and Karishma, but Dan didn't want it, so they were a bit stuck.

Spidey66 · 17/04/2026 10:28

I was delighted Karishma won. She had the personal story, the knowledge behind it, and she knew her business inside out. She was a great candidate throughout the process. Well done xxxx

How on earth would it be possible

I’m not sure what she said but was proposing

if it was her monitoring - how would that work as it grows?

she strikes me as someone who has over identified with a family of someone in care and then comes up with this one to one idea that isn’t scalable

Just reading an interview with Karishma in which she says "once the final is filmed, the contestants have “no idea who has won” and must wait up to six months to find out the results."

That sounds very strange - especially their reaction once they leave the boardroom, do they film two endings, as each winning? They can't return to film it once the result shared as their appearance continuity wouldn't work after six months surely.

I can’t read that article, but I seem to remember reading a few years ago that they film both candidates bring told they’d won (I apologise if this is not correct for The Apprentice, I definitely read it about one of these types of programs). It did spoil it a little for me as that obviously means they will fake their surprise and joy in that initial moment.

Thats why thought she wouldnt somehow win because it was a too obvious winner and usually they like the surprise! Right decision however

I wanted Kieran to win from the start, but am pleased Karishma won at the end. She was outstanding throughout. And has had a tough time with her family so deserves a break.

Yes, if Dan had been offering his existing business he would have been a serious rival for Karishma, but he'd have been mad to sell 50% of that for £250k.

Thanks @dunroaminaroind, it's really interesting that's how they do it. It does spoil it a bit that they are faking at the end but I guess it's a way to stop leaks and undertake any final due diligence on the candidates.

Must be pretty hard on the finalists though, going through it all to the final stage and then in limbo for months.
