I do like Karishma but unless she’s lucky and a real grafter I see it lasting 5 years tops. The market is saturated. I may buy her mask though.

I liked Pascha’s business only because my nana started one of the first recruitment co’s after WWII. She would’ve expanded only her husband had all the money (family) and didn’t back her. She’d have been CEO of Reed or Brook Street who were around then or just started. At least Pascha wants the personal touch and less sales, so she has some integrity in the recruitment business which I don’t touch with a bargepole now. Far too many salespeople in it.

Pascha let herself down by being a bit thick, immature yes but hopefully she’ll mature and make a successful business in time. Recruitment is bloody hard though, I know 2 women who had their own boutique companies, 1 left to go into HR, the other is doing fairly well but retiring soon.

I follow him on Instagram. Yes, he’s an estate agent but he seems to have a nice touch. Is promoting local pubs in his area. Natch!

He is a rough diamond who needs polishing. And he’s overcome addiction and I hope he stays clean, he was very affected by his dad dying. And he’s in therapy for addiction too. Not many men do that. Especially at his age.

And no, I am not his mother!!! But I know where he’s from fairly well.

Kieran has a daft sort of charm, I think he means well!

There might be limited mileage in skincare but I think Karishma will be savvy enough to spot when it's approaching its sell-by date and switch to something else. Perhaps jewellery, as she clearly has interest and knowledge in that area, if she can just refrain from fact-dumping long enough for buyers to fall in love with the pieces first!

I googled and one of her businesses went bankrupt apparently. But it was with another person who didn’t seem to be related to her.

I do also wonder after she said about her dad’s business failing, why? And if so, don’t blindly follow him, much though you might admire him. My mum got funding from her stepdad for her first business but they were both not that business savvy unlike my mum’s mum (nana) who had a very successful business. She was the brains. Not my stepdad who she ran it with.

Kieran is apparently topped to be good on tv, presenting career or something. Can’t think where I read it, maybe here? He’s watchable.

Wasn't he the one from Isle of Man who claimed to be a "big fish in a little pond" but was ripped apart in the program by one of the "experts" who claimed he wasn't even a minnow let alone a big fish? I believe he committed suicide a year or two afterwards.

He died of an asthma attack.

And he was way more entertaining than any of this year’s candidates.

Oh that’s sad.

Thought this year's cohort were the thickest ever but the winner did have her ducks in a row, well done!

It doesn’t always work out for the winners , but I do hope it does for her.

"I'm having to rein in my extreme masculinity!" is one of my all time favourite Apprentice quotes - said by Stuart when presented with a task involving driving Formula One cars.

In another task selling used cars, he assured a potential buyer that the used car he was considering was an investment that would appreciate in value over the years ... someone had to step in sharpish and disabuse the buyer of that notion (no, it was not a vintage Rolls Royce or Aston Martin, it was a Ford Focus or similar). 😂

Oh, he was a classic candidate and so sad that he died at such a young age.

I forgot to say, it was nice last night to see Leah Totton briefly - the cosmetic surgeon who won a previous series with her aesthetics clinics - I wonder if she will mentor Karishma in the future. Dr Totton was a good advert for her business, she hadn't aged a bit!

I didn't recognise Leah Totton. I thought she looked really different.

I just love how sensible and useful she is. Hopefully it means we'll get a series with decent candidates next time!
