@LesserSpottedCharacter yes initially John was a normal kind of guy. Much like Hillman was. Then things happened....

In those days they gave villains much more time to develop rather than plonking them down completely psycho within a fortnight.

A useful local electrician would be an asset. Instead we get mal.

It makes so much more sense to do that, not only in developing the character and how we feel about them, then the shock and disappointment or whatever when they turn bad, but it would give the scriptwriters something to work with rather than ever more desperately trying to come up with drama, drama, drama to keep us all watching, which it doesn't.

That little girl made me laugh (who was talking to Jodie.) She asked Jodie what the dog's name was, and Jodie said 'it's David. David the dog.' Then the little girls said 'why, so people don't think he's a cat?' 😆 (Who WAS that little girl?)

Yeah, I am struggling with these shorter episodes. I watch them without ads, and they're 22-23 minutes long. They seem to be over so quickly! I swear they're 5 minutes shorter than the Classic Corrie ones. I would like them to be maybe 7 to 8 minutes longer.....

Not sure about the gold locket. Jodie showed one to Shona recently didn’t she, I think she said she’d bought / found it with photos already in it?
