Carl is still awful.

Mal is dreadful.

Bernie is panicking.

Ma Driscoll is horrendous.

Kit is still fit.

Ronnie and Kevin's new double act is quite entertaining!

Debbie is still in prison.

Hope is still as cheeky as ever.

Brian has lost one of his favourite books!

It's all happening in t'street

I am sure there is more....... Smile

More prison scenes! Felt a bit for Lou. I am annoyed that I am starting to like her!😆

I did laugh tonight, when Betsy said (when baby Connie got them all up) 'Urgh, it's only 6am.' When mine were around that age, 6am was a lie in! 😆

And when Cassie said 'I've gotta get on with my book' and Tracy said 'yeah, it takes some concentration, all that colouring in...' 😂

That baby (Connie) is soooooooooooo cute! 😍

Oh noooooo what has happened to our Debbie (at the end there......?!) Shock

I used a lot of emojis there! 😳

@SabreIsMyFave I’m guessing Debbie has had another TIA so hopefully the prison officer who just walked past gets reprimanded or something when it comes out that Debbie asked for help

rainbowruthie · 03/03/2026 21:08

Oh no poor Debbie Sad
Bloody Tracy she doesn't want him but doesn't want anyone else to have him either.

HaddyAbrams · 03/03/2026 21:10

Im slightly worried about how lightly they all sleep chez Swarla. Baby Connie was barely making any noise and they were all awake

Debbie looks great when shes all glammed up. But shes also stunning bare faced and in her prison garb.

I hope it backfires (for Tracy) and Steve actually asks Cassie to marry him! 👰

Ooh I love that idea!

Shellingbynight · 03/03/2026 21:29

I thought Tracy relented and was grudgingly doing Steve a good turn by telling him about Cassie.

Sally has two neighbours in the same jail at the same time, and then we have George being taken in for questioning, just a regular day in Weatherfield.

I hope Lou is going to return to the Street, I like her.

It looked as if Debbie had a stroke.

It makes sense now that Ben is so handy with his fists - takes after his da.

Is the dog shit some kind of subliminal message about the state of the show?

Hmmm, I wonder. Yeah, she did say 'no she didn't decide to ask after she found out your dad died, she was planning it before...' If she was planning on being nasty, she would have said she planned it after Steve found out about his dad.

Could it be that Tracy is being........... NICE! 😱

I am also warming to Lou. Smile

And maybe Debbie has had a stroke..... Sad

I thought Tracey was being uncharacteristically nice as well !

I did laugh when builder dad (got a blank on his name !) wheeled in the pram and Carla said ..." Ohh God ...not another one " 😅😅.

I think Carla has got her eye on Mary to be the little ones Nannie .

Freysimo · 04/03/2026 06:43

Are all the families in Corrie "blended families"? I can't think of any that aren't.

Thoroughly blended with random ingredients chucked in.

zanahoria · 04/03/2026 07:56

Perhaps Corrie needs to raise awareness of the underrepresented community of couples who have kids and stay together.

and Kindly Uncle Ed showed up at six in the morning

They never seem to mention what’s going on in the world do they. Big things like Brexit, Covid, wars, never get talked about. Considering they have a paper shop is a fairly regular feature too it’s a bit odd. I suppose they want to keep things ‘light’ and let the viewers have some relaxing escapism, so they throw in serial killers & domestic violence instead.

Shellingbynight · 04/03/2026 08:15

Mary used to look after Asda and Aldi after Sunita died, she as less annoying in those days.

Tracey has mellowed since the early days when she was pure villain, she can be quite nice nowadays! And she has got good instincts, she knew Cassie was (early on) conning Ken. Which Cassie was mysteriously forgiven for, despite actually drugging him.

LesserSpottedCharacter · 04/03/2026 09:29

Asda and Aldi 😂👏

Shellingbynight · 04/03/2026 09:35

Not my invention sadly, that's how they were known online when they were younger!

He said he knocked because he saw the lights on. Someone needs to tell Ed that seeing lights on in a house isn’t an invitation to call round at 6am! If that had happened in MumsnetWorld, Carla and Swain would have seen him standing on the doorstep with the pram through the Ring doorbell, but wouldn’t have answered to door because they’d be overcome by anxiety and would post on here to ask why the weird man over the road had knocked on their door at stupid o’clock with a pram, and ask if they should call the police. 😂

the80sweregreat · 04/03/2026 09:40

Mary ( Poppins) was quite good yesterday with the advice. I wished more women would help people out with babies like that instead of tutting at them if their child starts to cry whilst out. Babies are stressful. As Carla is finding out now!

the80sweregreat · 04/03/2026 09:44

Occasionally ( on Eastenders) they have inserted a few pieces around big news stories. Have Corrie never done this ? It’s rare, but I recall one of the Royal weddings being mentioned and maybe a football story once. A few people like the King and Queen and Boris Johnson have visited as well ( as part of an episode)
Covid was mentioned too.

The only one I remember on Corrie was when Michael Jackson died, that evenings episode had a scene in Roy’s with a few characters discussing his death.

JewelleryCat · 04/03/2026 10:27

Wouldn’t Debbie have done her prison sentence in a hospital or something because of her dementia? I’m not sure how it all works but if they know she gets TIAs then surely she’s better in hospital, especially if she’s now had a stroke instead

Shellingbynight · 04/03/2026 10:45

It's unlikely Debbie would have been imprisoned. But she doesn't need to be in hospital unless she's actually having treatment. People with dementia deteriorate hugely in a hospital environment.

Of course this is all muddied by Debbie's enthusiasm for pleading guilty, and the fact she didn't do it anyway. It's such a nonsense storyline. But Sue is doing a brilliant job with it.

eggandonion · 04/03/2026 11:06

She needs to be at home with Ronnie.

BlackCat14 · 04/03/2026 11:15

I agree re the Debbie storyline, when she was on trial etc would the police not have liased with the hospital and known from her injuries (seat belt scars that we saw etc) that she couldn’t possibly have been in the driving seat. I hope Carl gets his comeuppance!
