Ma Driscoll is horrendous.

Kit is still fit.

Ronnie and Kevin's new double act is quite entertaining!

Debbie is still in prison.

Hope is still as cheeky as ever.

Brian has lost one of his favourite books!

Dorin was only supposed to stay while Alina was sorting out her flooded home. Or did I dream it, it is so long ago. I think the writers have so many story lines on the go that they forget.

Ooooh, the one he had with Shelley?! That's probably a future storyline!

And yes, bring back little Dorin! Barely see him these days.

And yes, I think Alina (his mum) did hide away from a gang.

Dorin is a cracking little actor, we need more of him and his ab-libbing. Last seen last week chasing Brian out of the house while banging his drum down the hall behind him 🥁

@SabreIsMyFave I was thinking of the baby Charlie had with a girl he met in a club. He told her his name was Jason Grimshaw, and she came and dumped the baby on him and Eileen. She subsequently discovered who Charlie really was during publicity for the murder trial, and took the baby back. I had forgotten about Shelley's baby!

@Lorrymum that sounds familiar. Dorin has been with Tyrone for ages, she's forgotten about him!

Connie is very cute, but doubt we really needed this storyline. Surely the Swarla upcoming wedding on 23 April would give enough stories for now.
Sad to hear of Jim's death, so I am. Maggie has shown no emotion at all so far...wonder how it will come out about her past with Jim.

Connie is very sweet but I do think she's going to be another quick let's have a dramatic for five minutes storyline then send her upstairs to listen to her tapes for most of her life until she's old enough to have more dramatic storylines, if Corrie doesn't go bust meantime.

The baby being dumped on the doorstep with the grandmother having never contacted Carla was just the height of all that is implausible on the street . Then Lisa just taking the baby in no questions asked and seemingly not needing to then go to work . Of course the grandma will be ill or die following this hospital appointment.. leaving Lisa and Carla free to adopt the baby and complete their family . A story we don’t need that has very little interest !!!
what’s happened to Todd ? Theo ? Sam ? There seems to be massive gaps between stories that are then filled with nonsense..

Agreed, it'll be just like Dorin. And Frankeh. And Glory. Introduced to provide big drama for the characters, then invisible for years. Never mind the practicalities of who looks after the kids.

It's the same with wee Harper too, she's conveniently tucked up in the hospital. That'll be handy for the SW if her condition needs ongoing care, she can listen to her tapes on the ward.

There are a few babies/children who could return e.g. Ben Watts, Curly & Raquel's daughter, Josh & Freddie Peacock which makes sense as they have a history rather than random family members or random families. I had forgotten about Charlie's baby (Eileen called her Holly) despite it being on Classic.

At least we are being spared the hospital scenes of the Platts camping out there staring at a baby in an incubator.
