Welcome to Thread 6 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far:

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)

No murder cliffhanger after episode 6, but Matthew (aka Interchangeable Male #3) has taken an interesting approach. We wait to see what cunning questions Harriet can come up with.

The floor is yours…

This time it’s personal! Traitors 2026 | Thread 5 | Spoiler Free! | Mumsnet

I hope Harriet doesn’t leave it too late to go after Rachel but she needs to be careful how she goes about it.

I think the two traitors get so red and sweaty at the round table surely someone must have noticed.

I don't particularly want Rachel to win but if the final is her, Roxy and an Interchangeable then all power to her!

Agree. I’d rather someone wins who has actually worked hard to win. I’d be happy if Harriet or Sam won. The arrogant thing was horrible I thought especially after being left with no help in the cage. I don’t agree with him being arrogant at all and wonder if he’s lost confidence as he doesn’t say much now (or could be the editing of course).

WriterOfWrongs · 10/01/2026 01:02

Next series I'd like them to use a wider span of the alphabet when it comes to the contestants' first names.

Rachel, Reece, Ross, Roxy.

Jack, Jade, James, Jessie, Judy.

Too confusing for me.

Yes I feel quite badly for Sam, he seems a little down and sad after the negative feelings towards him. And we know he’s innocent but in there they don’t… it must be so hard for them. I hope they get some care….

beasmithwentworth · 10/01/2026 01:05

Agreed. Harriet has a very careful path to tread now. Incidentally I’m just reading her third book and think I have identified the main plot twist quite early on. I expected more from our most astute faithful (no doubt I’ll be proved wrong).

Also agreed I don’t believe for one second that Fiona believed that Rachel was telling the truth about Amanda’s ‘secret’ (as she said she did on uncloaked). Absolutely not.

lastly - I saw a TikTok with the infamous ex Traitor Harry (still the best one of all time IMO) giving his round up as he does after each episode. He said ‘it’s a shame they don’t want me on Uncloaked as I would have nailed this one’ (or words to that effect)

It’s true I haven’t seen him on there this year - though I did miss the first couple admittedly . He’s normally a regular on the sofa there.. or are they saving him for the later weeks, as someone pointed out they seem to be matching up the banished / murdered counterparts from past series’ .. (or if not does anyone know why they don’t want him?) ..

I haven’t seen panto baddy Paul on there either (or was he on in the first week when I missed it?). He’s normally there lording it up on Uncloaked too!

WriterOfWrongs · 10/01/2026 01:05

I feel sorry for Sam too, and think he got penalised somewhat for being a classically good looking, confident, middle-class white man in his 30s. I really didn't think he came across as arrogant - he was assertive, but that's different.

Thedogscollar · 10/01/2026 01:14

I really like Sam and somehow see a connection with Stephen.
Looking forward to hearing Harriet's questions. As an ex barrister I'm expecting them to be exposing and probing.

patooties · 10/01/2026 01:19

I think Rachel is toast soon - or they will banish Harriet quickly.

Choppychop · 10/01/2026 01:20

This is really far field but I heard that Sam is related to Ed Gamble 😂 I don’t think I believe it but I’ve heard it several times.

I can't see how Harriet is going to be banished, as she cemented herself as a faithful.

She is more likely to be murdered as Rachel knows Harriet is super smart. I am not sure whether she knows Harriet is on to her though.

falalalalalalalallama · 10/01/2026 01:26

So, did anyone else notice the extra envelope on the table in Uncloaked last night?

When Reece picked up the letter containing the reveal for the traitors, there was another letter underneath which we never saw him open.

The same happened on Uncloaked with Amanda and Maz.

Definitely there are more secrets!

beasmithwentworth · 10/01/2026 01:30

One of my favourite reasons for someone being banished in a past series (though I can’t recall who it was) was that during some down time, a group of them were all doing impressions of Claudia. When it came to the person in the group who was a traitor, their Claudia impression said something that only the Traitors would have heard her say in the turret. Brilliant!

C8H10N4O2 · 10/01/2026 01:32

I was out tonight and thought I’d catch up tomorrow (well today now) but ended up watching it all tonight.

Delighted Fiona has gone. I can't remember seeing someone who came across badly to me in the game, being even worse IRL. Usually they are normal and come across as much nicer on Uncloaked/other shows than they did in the game.

Very annoyed that Uncloaked became the Fiona-Talks-Bollocks Show and we heard next to nothing from Reece. He got a little more time on the bonus episode but not much. They should manage the show better than this, I wanted to hear more from Reece.

Either Fiona’s age was a misprint and she is at least 72 or more or she is cosplaying someone at least a decade older. I’m not so far different from Fiona in age, I don’t know anyone who does this nonsensical Tena-lady schtick, wears silver crushed velvet curtains and “doesn’t know about” SM.

What was that bollocks about the burner phone? Does she realise the show is over and she can stop lying for five minutes?

Her comment about getting rid of Ben because he wouldn’t add much to the missions - he is only four years older than her, ex military and looked a damned sight fitter. Considering she added fuck all to any of the missions it just seemed malicious.

Not keen on Fiona in case it wasn’t clear.😁

I meant murdered ! Sorry ! I cannot see her surviving next week…

FrodoBiggins · 10/01/2026 01:42

Been thinking about how I would play it if I were Harriet, regarding the questions.
I don't think the Q&As will tell her much. But I think if she speaks to Rachel about it "in confidence" she could convince Rachel she's not on to her - she just has to say, verbatim, what she in fact asked and what the traitors said. Rachel will know she's being honest so would see this as trusting behaviour.

Matthew will have to lie or say he's not telling.
Rachel will have to make something up or say she's not telling
Harriet though can use it against Rachel and either lie to others, be cagey, or share info with those she trusts (if anyone!)

would love to know where this is from 😂

I wonder whether she will gather from the questions

shes been smart so far

did Matt and Harriet talk about Rachel, I can’t even remember 😬

FrodoBiggins · 10/01/2026 01:51

Harriet certainly spoke to one of the interchangeable men about Rachel. Either the N Irish one with the jumpers or the sideburn-ed David Tennant I think, and said that there is a benefit to keeping possible traitors close.

patooties · 10/01/2026 01:52

I also think - Harriet is really smart - and will hopefully pick her allies carefully and construct her narrative around that. She’s very much onto Rachel but can’t be a lone wolf - just needs to get her back up without alerting either traitor or anyone close to them… good luck with that !

Girl same 😂

Oneforallandallforone · 10/01/2026 02:10

I just caught up with it.
I hope Rachel is next. But I fear Harriet is too insistent on biding her time and will be too late to initiate her take down.
I was annoyed too that Rachel and Stephen were allowed to be together and whispering in the confessional when replying to the questions. Whats the point of that when they were told they can lie anyway?
Rachel is awful. I would hate to work with her. Her snarky smile, her way of staring people down, even her love of wearing yellow and blue. I find her thoroughly dislikeable, with no redeeming features at all. I dont think she's a pantomine villain, or playing a game. I think this is a really hard hearted, austere person. Its a game Rachel. Lighten up.

I think this is the worst series of The Traitors so far. I am not enjoying it because of the traitors they chose and the majority of bland faithful contestants they selected to play. They couldn't have picked a less interesting bunch.

Catsandcwtches · 10/01/2026 02:43

The traitors handwriting in the notes they pass through from the confessional could be a clue for Matthew and Harriet, if they manage to take note of it before they have to burn it.

Hard agree, we saw Rachel’s handwriting which I thought was a problem
