Welcome to Thread 6 of Traitors 2026.

This thread runs at TV pace so do not read any further if you are not up to date with the live broadcast. Whilst most discussion will be on the current series, inevitably people will refer to previous series/players/winners so reader beware if you’ve not seen the 3 previous editions, or the celebrity version.

While we welcome posters discussing their theories and speculating on relationships/connections between players, please don’t post spoilers from elsewhere that may ruin things for those of us who like to see things unfold over the course of the series.

The story so far:

Traitors
Hugo
Rachel
Stephen
Fiona (Secret Traitor)

Murdered
Netty
Ben
Maz
Reece

Banished
Judy (Faithful)
Hugo (Traitor)
Ross (Faithful)
Amanda (Faithful)
Fiona (Traitor)

No murder cliffhanger after episode 6, but Matthew (aka Interchangeable Male #3) has taken an interesting approach. We wait to see what cunning questions Harriet can come up with.

The floor is yours…

This time it’s personal! Traitors 2026 | Thread 5 | Spoiler Free! | Mumsnet

Harriet helped oust Hugo, some balls if she was a traitor. And Fiona accused Rachel.
Like her outburst or not, I would have been siding with Harriet at the RT.

No one will recall.

I’m getting the new thread ready to go.

Bet her publishers aren’t happy.

Even if she redeems herself, no one will forget that rude outburst.

Bit of a PR disaster.

I would say it depends a lot on the Uncloaked appearance. Fiona’s problem was that she was exactly the same, most people are not.
If Harriet on Uncloaked says she decided to go with that strategy as all or nothing and paid the price along with being generally back to her previous self then I’d accept it was a pose for the day. I find it hard to believe that she seriously is angry at traitors being traitors in a game.

PinkPanther57 · 14/01/2026 20:30

As Fiona disproportionately rattled too I reckon personal beef & personality clashes in house not in edit.

To be fair I think anyone would be rattled being spoken to in that aggressive way

CompleteMere · 14/01/2026 20:32

Harriet has made the classic clever person’s mistake in believing this about being Right not being popular. Traitors is 90% a popularity contest and as a Faithful you need enough people to like you enough to listen to your theories to get anyone banished. Even if your theories are 100% right and the most logical ones being put forward.

RebeccaDecember · 14/01/2026 20:32

They can’t murder Jessie now, so that will scupper Mathew’s request (which feels a long time ago now ha)

pouletvous · 14/01/2026 20:32

We can say what we want about H’s outburst but she’s bloody right about Rachel. She’s bloody goood!

Elsbetka · 14/01/2026 20:33

Oof I've gone right off Harriet! That was just very rude behaviour towards Roxy (who I'm not generally a fan of).

They’re going to give Rachel the shield 🙈🙈🙈🙈
Clever Rachel.

littlbrowndog · 14/01/2026 20:33

James 🤣

LighthouseLED · 14/01/2026 20:33

Agree with this. I think Fiona’s about the only person to come across badly on any of the Uncloaked episodes I’ve seen. But surely Harriet will have had some media training so I imagine she’d be fine.

dapsnotplimsolls · 14/01/2026 20:34

Adam talking about his plums 😁

ChinFluff46 · 14/01/2026 20:34

What a rubbish task 😂

PinkPanther57 · 14/01/2026 20:34

FancyGoose · 14/01/2026 20:28

If Harriet gets banished though she will reveal herself to be a faithful and then surely all eyes will be on Rachel. I think whatever happens, she has ruined Rachel's chance of winning...

I wonder if R a bit marmite or two faced & we’re nor really seeing it…Hence disproportionate anger from F & H.

BlueLimes · 14/01/2026 20:34

Rachel just seems so unpleasant.

SwedishEdith · 14/01/2026 20:34

Harriet still reminds me of Shami Chakrabarti. Her eyes, expressions and way of speaking/delivery. She was a barrister as well.

RebeccaDecember · 14/01/2026 20:32

True, but Matthew will realise that about the shields - he’s not stupid

CaveMum · 14/01/2026 20:31

Can I recommend reading Mary Beard’s “Women & Power: A Manifesto”. It’s only 115 pages and well worth it. The first part focuses on attitudes to women speaking out….

I've read it. I have also read The Authority Gap which is excellent.

Still find Harriet deeply unpleasant. I think for me it's a reaction against her privilege.

Pepperz · 14/01/2026 20:35

What did Fiona say on Uncloaked?

True but she’s also accused Roxy and Matthew today and reassured Stephen so it’s a bit hit and miss 😂

Harriet has the strength of her convictions and that is what she is showing. The others don’t show this. They may suspect people but don’t have the strength to present their evidence strongly enough to oust them.

TheGreenBow · 14/01/2026 20:35

It’s great entertainment but I really thought she would have adopted the tactic of sticking close to Rachel. She could have quietly influenced people. I can’t understand the anger either - why would you be that angry at someone who was chosen to be a traitor and is playing that game they all agreed to.

I’m getting really irritated by Roxy though - but can see why Harriet has annoyed her.

littlbrowndog · 14/01/2026 20:36

It was James Rachel

dapsnotplimsolls · 14/01/2026 20:36

7 shields? Little buggers.
