The last thread filled up quickly! (2 weeks!) Shows Coronation Street is gaining popularity again. (It has improved quite a bit lately!)

R.I.P. Billy Mayhew.

Todd continues to be manipulated by Theo, Summer has done some stellar sobbing (that's brought me to tears!) and it seems there's no-one to help poor Todd.

Not much has been seen of The Driscolls for a while. after the tragedy around Corriedale, and Billy the vicar dying. (I'm sure they're about somewhere!)

Lisa (Swain) is being manipulated by Undead Becky now, (from prison) and she's threatening to 'take her down with her' if she doesn't have her back! Not sure Carla wants Lisa back anyway after Lisa slept with Becky!

Poor Debbie is all over the place, trying desperately to defend evil Carl who has stolen from her, cheated on Abi, and caused all kinds of destruction with a car, (twice - and both times he's got away with it!)

Shona and David's new baby is in hospital for a while after being born prematurely, and Shona's sister has appeared suddenly! I guess we'll learn more about her, and why she and Shona have not seen each other for some years.

Sorry if I've left anything out. I'm sure we'll all catch up soon.

It is daft in this age, just plonk it on the iplayer!

I like football but they should ask it to budge a bit.

My ideal situation would be for them to extend half time and put Corrie on then.

I am a bit confused by Meghan Trainer.

She claimed she was seeing Daniel as a smokescreen but is spending rather a lot of time with him.

Is she just telling Will she can do whatever she likes?

Now we have the mysterious phone call, presumably from another young lad she has ditched.

I think she has several of them on the go and tells each one what they want to hear, she is a real manipulator. It all feels quite flat though, because we know nothing about her except this. It's like Theo, it's obvious she's a short term villain.

I'm looking forward to Meghan Trainer getting caught out. Any grown woman who could fancy Will <with his socks on> should serve time with Becky.

Maybe the Undead Becky actress had finally had enough of the ghastly wig & refused to be in CS any more?

Dylan was pinching cars with Brodie wasn’t he? Will that all come out when Kev can finally prove that Carl ran over Tyrone? Didn’t George see Dylan driving a stolen car?

I tried googling him, but a face came up that I don't recognise.

From what I googled we haven’t actually seen him, but he is the big boss in “the gang”.

I have zero recollection of Curtis being mentioned.

I am completely unaware of Curtis too, but that's because whenever Becky spoke (until she got to jail) I used to fast forward 😆

EastEnders has brought back dead characters but nobody cared about the nonsense as they were popular

Corrie introduced an extremely unpleasant new character by bringing them back from the dead. It was never going to work

Exactly @zanahoria there was a 'reason' for EE to bring back someone like Kathy, but Becky rising from the grave when we'd never met her before was just a daft plot device which was never going to work.
