The last thread filled up quickly! (2 weeks!) Shows Coronation Street is gaining popularity again. (It has improved quite a bit lately!)

R.I.P. Billy Mayhew.

Todd continues to be manipulated by Theo, Summer has done some stellar sobbing (that's brought me to tears!) and it seems there's no-one to help poor Todd.

Not much has been seen of The Driscolls for a while. after the tragedy around Corriedale, and Billy the vicar dying. (I'm sure they're about somewhere!)

Lisa (Swain) is being manipulated by Undead Becky now, (from prison) and she's threatening to 'take her down with her' if she doesn't have her back! Not sure Carla wants Lisa back anyway after Lisa slept with Becky!

Poor Debbie is all over the place, trying desperately to defend evil Carl who has stolen from her, cheated on Abi, and caused all kinds of destruction with a car, (twice - and both times he's got away with it!)

Shona and David's new baby is in hospital for a while after being born prematurely, and Shona's sister has appeared suddenly! I guess we'll learn more about her, and why she and Shona have not seen each other for some years.

Sorry if I've left anything out. I'm sure we'll all catch up soon.

Yes I think he was. He is still in it - and out of the 'naughty boys place,' but he hasn't been onscreen for a few weeks.

Interestingly, Violet in Classic Corrie is currently pregnant with Dylan. It's December 2007, and he's due in February 2008.

Maria is pregnant in Classic Corrie with Liam too.

I like Dylan, it is a shame that they have turned a character who was there from birth into another tedious bad bay - a sidekick for Brody and an on/off love interest for Betsy.

He is not even very convincing as a bad lad, then again neither is Brody, nor was Mason. They all look like nicely brought up stage school kids and nothing like the sort of feral youth with bad skin that I avoid at bus stops.

When I occasionally hear The Archers I picture Brody when George speaks.

I would rather just have more kids on it like lovely sad faced Liam. Perhaps he would not have such a sad face if he had some kids around him who weren't getting involved with gangs.

Puzzled why Kirk was at Bertie's tea party? Is he related to Barlows?
Only started watching Corrie again last May, so not up to date with all Street relationships.

I had forgotten they had recast Lily, she looks like a cross between Kylie and Shona, not a bad job.

Quite a good episode, although too much Megan. And Will is unbearable, they could at least have given him some mates and a personality other than “glowering teen”.

I still don’t know if Debbie really believes she was driving. Ronnie is lovely.

That Megan wench is getting super cosy with Daniel, considering she is with Will. Also why, WHY is she with this sour faced pouty little teenager? She is an attractive professional woman who very likely hasn't been too short of male admirers. Why on earth is she with Will?

Are we to assume that Megan Trainer has got the pg test for herself then? If so, who's the potential daddy? She's only been getting it on with Daniel for a week or two hasn't she? Wonder if its the mystery caller.

I think the pregnancy test is clearly Megan's - for her own use. It's so obvious that it's hilarious. If she is pregnant - that the baby might be Will's. 😖

I don’t like Will, he’s moody all the time but I’m guessing the baby if she is pregnant will be his. I can’t see how it could be Daniel’s but it only takes once. I think Megan might also be feeling something for Daniel despite it only being a cover story

There is nothing nice about Will at all. Moody, aggressive , sullen , a teenager .. I mean, his one to avoid.

@Shellingbynight I still don’t know if Debbie really believes she was driving .. she knows she wasn’t, she saw her own huge bruise from the seatbelt. She’s deliberately covering for Carl.

To be fair, he’s been groomed by his trainer, then she’s openly shagging his teacher and expecting him to do nothing. It’s natural he’s fucked up!

Yes and now she’s not pulling him up on the fact he’s been swindling her and is telling Kevin she would pick Carl if he wanted her to choose. Could it be more obvious what’s coming…?

Daniel told Adam they'd been very careful (about contraception), presumably to highlight the unlikelihood of him being in the frame in the inevitable Who's the Daddy plot.
I don't get Megan at all. Christ, Daniel, Daisy was a better prospect.

True but he has already bashed Daniel over the head once and only hot away with it as his granny saved him

Thing with megan is she is yet another character who is new, that we don’t know or have grown to like yet. She’s got a big story. Yet another pregnancy story with Daniel and another female in Bertie’s life.

It was so obvious 🙄 when he earnestly said he had already been in a pregnancy situation where he he thought he was the Daddy but not

The whole ‘Megan & Will’ storyline is ridiculous.
As if no one would have noticed something going on between them. So many little secret whispers on the way to the toilets.
Laughed at ‘Megan Trainer’ though 😃
