The last thread filled up quickly! (2 weeks!) Shows Coronation Street is gaining popularity again. (It has improved quite a bit lately!)

R.I.P. Billy Mayhew.

Todd continues to be manipulated by Theo, Summer has done some stellar sobbing (that's brought me to tears!) and it seems there's no-one to help poor Todd.

Not much has been seen of The Driscolls for a while. after the tragedy around Corriedale, and Billy the vicar dying. (I'm sure they're about somewhere!)

Lisa (Swain) is being manipulated by Undead Becky now, (from prison) and she's threatening to 'take her down with her' if she doesn't have her back! Not sure Carla wants Lisa back anyway after Lisa slept with Becky!

Poor Debbie is all over the place, trying desperately to defend evil Carl who has stolen from her, cheated on Abi, and caused all kinds of destruction with a car, (twice - and both times he's got away with it!)

Shona and David's new baby is in hospital for a while after being born prematurely, and Shona's sister has appeared suddenly! I guess we'll learn more about her, and why she and Shona have not seen each other for some years.

Sorry if I've left anything out. I'm sure we'll all catch up soon.

Yet again it was used for dramatic effect. It should be as much a part of her character as Izzy being in her wheelchair, Mary breathing or Gemma having her mouth open.

Yes @zanahoria , I was just thinking that earlier, there could easily be a T2 character with that number of people on the street, it becoming so much more prevalent now. And it would be a great opportunity to inform of the differences.

My theory is Megan will groom Brody next and Tim will get involved and tie back to his own story

I think Brody’s far too ‘bad boy’ for her.
I hope she gets caught soon though because she’s getting way too much screen time.

Horrible thought, but there may yet be others. She has had 4 years of PE teaching / athletics training.
Concerned that there has been no further mention of her pregnancy.

I just hope Bertie who Megan has access to isn’t drawn into the storyline.
If Megan was a man and Bertie was a girl we would be screaming at Daniel through the screen to not leave the child in their care!
I think it’s a big problem that when women are paedos people just don’t see the dangers - it’s why they get away with it, and why it’s realistic Eva and Ben aren’t concerned.

Is this the end of Theo ? Although this confession didn’t feel very Theo! He comes across as completely cold and calculating and horrible , so this feels a bit strange. I know he thought he was alone.

It wasn't much of a confession, he didn't mention strapping him in, as in murdering him.

I assume it is recorded and will be played at Debbie's trial

Is the guilt going to eat away at Theo’s soul. (Nah that would assume he has a soul.) He’s very good at self pity though. I quite like that Carl heard Theo confessing. Now there’s an idea… Carl and Theo could kill each other. Win Win.

Tracey’s flower shop seems to have doubled in size since I last saw it. I wish we had more Tracey and less Mary.

Megan seems to have gone shiny Korean glass face.

I know there’s a saying about being an ‘old soul’ but Sam seems to be about 70 years old.
