The last thread filled up quickly! (2 weeks!) Shows Coronation Street is gaining popularity again. (It has improved quite a bit lately!)

R.I.P. Billy Mayhew.

Todd continues to be manipulated by Theo, Summer has done some stellar sobbing (that's brought me to tears!) and it seems there's no-one to help poor Todd.

Not much has been seen of The Driscolls for a while. after the tragedy around Corriedale, and Billy the vicar dying. (I'm sure they're about somewhere!)

Lisa (Swain) is being manipulated by Undead Becky now, (from prison) and she's threatening to 'take her down with her' if she doesn't have her back! Not sure Carla wants Lisa back anyway after Lisa slept with Becky!

Poor Debbie is all over the place, trying desperately to defend evil Carl who has stolen from her, cheated on Abi, and caused all kinds of destruction with a car, (twice - and both times he's got away with it!)

Shona and David's new baby is in hospital for a while after being born prematurely, and Shona's sister has appeared suddenly! I guess we'll learn more about her, and why she and Shona have not seen each other for some years.

Sorry if I've left anything out. I'm sure we'll all catch up soon.

Has Summer got her degree yet, is she just working Dev’s shop in the holidays? Anyway, poor Summer, she’s so heartbroken.

Brian and Mary together are very annoying. I think they are aiming for the chats Reet and Norris used to have, and completely missing. Although I liked Mary’s line in the Rovers about not being able to get a drink despite the entire cast of Ben Hur serving behind the bar.

I am fed up with Megan and dreary Will. I know Sam is a very serious type of chap, but his reaction was weird (wasn’t it?) I cannot imagine any 14 year old confronting a 16 year old. When I was at school we were in awe of kids in the years above us.

I got a bit lost over the bag that Kit gave to Summer with Paul’s ashes in. What was that all about?

It got a mention but she does not need insulin for a hypo

@Nevermind17 I had to look it up - it was so long ago and they didn't bother with a reminder. When Paul died his ashes were divided into two, some went up in the rocket (I remember that bit). And Billy was given some which then got stolen by a guy who said he was Paul's friend, Billy was very distraught and let him into the flat and he nicked the ashes.

Yes, she mentioned both states. Possiby she was hyper and needed to take her insulin. Unsure what she drank- cocktail in a can?
Corriedale was 3 weeks ago so guess Billy's funeral must be soon.

Abi’s coat annoys me as it has a weird bit on it .
Mind you , on the night of the crash, she was the only one who looked warm as it is a cosy coat, just the toggle bits on it that wind me up.

I do think many Corrie characters have a signature coat or jacket eg Becky, Roy.
Carl seems to be irresistible to all.

I think she screwed up the line as she said hyper to start with then switched to 'I mean hypo'.

@SabreIsMyFave I agree Sam is a bit wooden. Yes she was threatening him, I think his final look was aiming at 'scared' (hard to tell 😆)

To be fair, Sam always looks like a rabbit with anxiety disorder in headlights. I was worried she was going to try to come on to him as well. 🙈

I do feel that Jodie was channeling her inner ‘ Pretty woman’ with the white dressing gown. Her and chuckle are so skunky together. He will soon bin her off I bet.
