The last thread filled up quickly! (2 weeks!) Shows Coronation Street is gaining popularity again. (It has improved quite a bit lately!)

R.I.P. Billy Mayhew.

Todd continues to be manipulated by Theo, Summer has done some stellar sobbing (that's brought me to tears!) and it seems there's no-one to help poor Todd.

Not much has been seen of The Driscolls for a while. after the tragedy around Corriedale, and Billy the vicar dying. (I'm sure they're about somewhere!)

Lisa (Swain) is being manipulated by Undead Becky now, (from prison) and she's threatening to 'take her down with her' if she doesn't have her back! Not sure Carla wants Lisa back anyway after Lisa slept with Becky!

Poor Debbie is all over the place, trying desperately to defend evil Carl who has stolen from her, cheated on Abi, and caused all kinds of destruction with a car, (twice - and both times he's got away with it!)

Shona and David's new baby is in hospital for a while after being born prematurely, and Shona's sister has appeared suddenly! I guess we'll learn more about her, and why she and Shona have not seen each other for some years.

It’s odd, but similar on my EE too! Walford general is ace , police are ( mostly ) pretty inept.

Daniel has been seeing Megan Trainer for less than a month but has already graded her for mum potential, works with her and now he wants them to move in together.

Although this is nothing compared to Will who despite only being sixteen wants them to be together forever and is so love blind that he cannot work out that the baby is not his.

The father is probably the caller from the other day, another one who is utterly obsessed with her.

No, it was just last year. A one night stand with Kit after she found out David had lied to her about Clayton wanting to see her (Clayton attempted suicide).

Jodie is definitely dodgy. She’s starting on Lileh and trying to detach her from Shona. I can’t make the connection with undead Graham in Emmerdale yet though.

Has Graham been seen in Emmerdale since the crash? I watched a few episodes after the crossover but I haven't stuck with it.

We are in a flashback week at the moment that is set before the crash and he’s in it. He also appeared in the hospital and looked at an Emmerdale character he was linked to in the past (after the crash), I’m pretty sure we saw him skulking around the village in a scene too, but it’s hard to keep track of because as I say we are in a flashback week that is set 2nd January before the crash to explain how another character got killed! Also another character has had a private investigator looking into if Graham is still alive because he thought he saw him at the hospital, phew, it’s complicated! 😂

Good point about David never doing any work. He's either in the hospital or at home. And Audrey is invisible, Maria is only ever seen in t'Rovers, so obviously no one needs a haircut!

@SabreIsMyFave that is really interesting about the factreh workers in Classic, what a coincidence. Last night's modern Corrie was written by Debbie Oates who has written for them since 2002, I wonder if she wrote the Tony Gordon episode too!

I don't think it's unreasonable that Will hasn't twigged it can't be his. He's 16, he won't really think it through. Are we sure Megan is still pregnant though? And why is she moving in with Leanne? It will be obvious soon.
For the person who asked - Glenda lives in the house that used to be George's.
And I don't like the new Rovers family but it has made the pub a central point again which was lacking

Yeah I wonder. I didn't notice the writer of the Classic Corrie with the same line in it. I doubt very much it was the same person though. I wonder if they realised the same line had come up, or if it was deliberate? Really strange coincidence!

I’m thinking that Will is the father of the baby .. and the reason that Megan is twitchy about the dates is that she needs it to be 8weeks so that he was 16 . Think she’s further along judging by the scan pic she grudgingly showed .

Weird scene with Lisa and Carla, entertaining Salleh and giving her red wine to cheer her up after having a row with Tim. Even though they seemed bored with her. 😆 Acting like nothing had ever happened with Undead Becky, and Carla being kidnapped and tied up and gagged and locked in a storage container. (For like, a week or more!!!) I would have taken a month to even begin to recover from that. I definitely would have peed myself a few times whilst tied up! I didn't see any evidence of Carla doing that. And yeah, superwoman Shona strikes again! Some very hard, resiliant women in Corrie!

Why is Jodie working in the cafe?! Does everyone have to have a sodding job on the street?!!!!! 🙄
