The last thread filled up quickly! (2 weeks!) Shows Coronation Street is gaining popularity again. (It has improved quite a bit lately!)

R.I.P. Billy Mayhew.

Todd continues to be manipulated by Theo, Summer has done some stellar sobbing (that's brought me to tears!) and it seems there's no-one to help poor Todd.

Not much has been seen of The Driscolls for a while. after the tragedy around Corriedale, and Billy the vicar dying. (I'm sure they're about somewhere!)

Lisa (Swain) is being manipulated by Undead Becky now, (from prison) and she's threatening to 'take her down with her' if she doesn't have her back! Not sure Carla wants Lisa back anyway after Lisa slept with Becky!

Poor Debbie is all over the place, trying desperately to defend evil Carl who has stolen from her, cheated on Abi, and caused all kinds of destruction with a car, (twice - and both times he's got away with it!)

Shona and David's new baby is in hospital for a while after being born prematurely, and Shona's sister has appeared suddenly! I guess we'll learn more about her, and why she and Shona have not seen each other for some years.

Sorry if I've left anything out. I'm sure we'll all catch up soon.

I think Megan had the abortion but is going to pretend to be pregnant. No idea why, perhaps she is just nuts and needs constant attention from Will, and possibly other teenage boys. I think the only time we have seen the 'real' Megan is when she was in a quandary about the pregnancy. Shona's sister is a young 'un for sure.

I completely missed what happened with him. One minute in the pub, the next in hospital.

Will’s birthday was 19 December so how does he think Megan is 8 weeks pregnant by him? I thought it was earlier in December but I just wiki’d it. I suppose it's whoever made that mysterious phone call, which is probably another teen back in Hull she’s now dumped.

Will's casting is odd, he’s supposed to be a super athlete but he doesn’t look it and they never even show him going for a run like James Bailey. And the actor isn't that strong and not able to carry the storyline.

It’s funny so many of us like Tracey now. I used to loathe her, she’s recently gone to jail on Classic and I was very glad to see the back of her. But they have successfully turned her into a new Blanche.

He was having heart palpitations and was also white as a sheet. Then we had Ma Driscoll exaggerating the word palpitations in hospital which was very annoying

I loved her as Mrs Doyle in Father Ted but not in Corrie

Do we ever see Will doing any proper training with Megan ?..
I suppose they must have slept together before his birthday , which makes the whole thing even more grim.

He did mention his maths homework

He needs to work a bit harder in that class!

He does not even seem mature for a sixteen year old. They seem intent on portraying him as a scruffy school lad with his shirt tails hanging out, which is more like a 11/12 year old than 16.

Why is everyone giving Carla a hard time?

Roy was joining in but people do not forgive and forget that easily.

Lisa messed her about, cheated on her only for Carla to sort everything out by doing Lisa:s job for her.

How would Lisa like it if Carla cheated on her and left her to run the knicker factory?

Carla should definitely not take advice from Roy even if he is channeling St Haley.

I'm another poster who thought Will and MeghanT had been 'at it' for ages. Was there a particular reference about waiting for him to be legal?

There was a scene with Will and Megan in a hotel room
with rose petals and it was kind of hinted that they had waited for his birthday to sneak off.
He isn’t doing the maths is he! She said the scan photo was 8 weeks. It also hints that they did the deed before his birthday.

Will had stayed overnight with Megan Trainer before but they did mention that the birthday shag was the first one.

Maybe it’ll eventually dawn on Will that she can’t be 8 weeks pregnant by him. Calendars are on phones , it’s not hard to count backwards , or just ask her what’s going on. He seems so blinded by love ( I know his being groomed) that he is just accepting everything she says.

Megan didn't change her sim card did she? She took a call and basically told the caller to clear off. I didn't see her change the sim though, it was Jodie who had multiple calls she wanted to avoid, and changed her sim.

Jodie threw a SIM card away in the bin. I was waiting for someone to find it , but like veggie lasagna gate , she got away with it.

Yes I thought someone would find it, like they find carelessly discarded pregnancy tests.

It is quite depressing really that whenever someone's relative arrives nowadays they are guaranteed to be serial killers/fraudsters/groomers. It started with Uncle Stephen so you would think the Platts would be wise to how Jodie will turn out!

Will's 16th birthday was not the first time they were together in a hotel room. They had stayed in hotels previously when Will was at athletics competitions with Megan.
It looks like Megan is going to move into Leanne's spare room. Just wondering where she has been staying the past few weeks since moving from Hull to start the new job ? She does not stay at Daniel's all the time.
