The last thread filled up quickly! (2 weeks!) Shows Coronation Street is gaining popularity again. (It has improved quite a bit lately!)

R.I.P. Billy Mayhew.

Todd continues to be manipulated by Theo, Summer has done some stellar sobbing (that's brought me to tears!) and it seems there's no-one to help poor Todd.

Not much has been seen of The Driscolls for a while. after the tragedy around Corriedale, and Billy the vicar dying. (I'm sure they're about somewhere!)

Lisa (Swain) is being manipulated by Undead Becky now, (from prison) and she's threatening to 'take her down with her' if she doesn't have her back! Not sure Carla wants Lisa back anyway after Lisa slept with Becky!

Poor Debbie is all over the place, trying desperately to defend evil Carl who has stolen from her, cheated on Abi, and caused all kinds of destruction with a car, (twice - and both times he's got away with it!)

Shona and David's new baby is in hospital for a while after being born prematurely, and Shona's sister has appeared suddenly! I guess we'll learn more about her, and why she and Shona have not seen each other for some years.

So far it's looking like Jodie is a wrong'n in one way or another so they finally get rid of one female baddie and immediately replace her with another. All in one tiny terraced street.

David is surely smart enough to see that she's a female version of young David. Although evil Todd hasn't resurfaced to deal with Theo.

Ma Driscoll has really annoyed me this episode

Ma Driscoll falling on the floor was so cringy :(

Everyone in that episode seemed to have a face like a yard of gravy.

David and Tracey provided some light relief. I really disliked Tracey in the past but she's one of the better characters now.

Was the nonsense with Ma Driscoll supposed to be funny? She is even more annoying than Becky, who would have thought that was possible!

Jodie definitely gives Single White Female vibes.

Tracy is funny! She can take the knocks and bitchy remarks on the chin and give it back too.

Ben was seen very quickly. He was lucky.

I’ve never liked Shona so not really interested in any storyline with her in it.
The scene with Ma Driscoll falling over was absolutely ridiculous. Didn’t enjoy tonight’s episode as it was mostly about the Driscoll family.
Agree with PP, Tracey is probably the best value character, always enjoy her scenes.

The question is is she being directed to overact or can she not help it. The character is one big fail. As for that falling thing - FFS 🙄🙄🙄. If that's what it took to get Ben to the hospital with his chest pains they really are scraping the bottom of the barrel which needs changing.

She was ridiculous with her weird 'oh nooooooo I have been attacked' act. So fake!

And horrible Jodie telling Lilleh that Shona (her stepmum) won't like her as much as her 'bio' child.

And Megan Trainer showing the little teenage boy father of her baby the scan of the baby. Also agree it seemed a bit big for an 8-week scan. More like 3 months....

She definitely looked really cagey when she showed him the scan photo. And why do they keep meeting in that place with all of the dry ice? Where is that smoke/steam meant to be coming from??
