The last thread filled up quickly! (2 weeks!) Shows Coronation Street is gaining popularity again. (It has improved quite a bit lately!)

R.I.P. Billy Mayhew.

Todd continues to be manipulated by Theo, Summer has done some stellar sobbing (that's brought me to tears!) and it seems there's no-one to help poor Todd.

Not much has been seen of The Driscolls for a while. after the tragedy around Corriedale, and Billy the vicar dying. (I'm sure they're about somewhere!)

Lisa (Swain) is being manipulated by Undead Becky now, (from prison) and she's threatening to 'take her down with her' if she doesn't have her back! Not sure Carla wants Lisa back anyway after Lisa slept with Becky!

Poor Debbie is all over the place, trying desperately to defend evil Carl who has stolen from her, cheated on Abi, and caused all kinds of destruction with a car, (twice - and both times he's got away with it!)

Shona and David's new baby is in hospital for a while after being born prematurely, and Shona's sister has appeared suddenly! I guess we'll learn more about her, and why she and Shona have not seen each other for some years.

Sorry if I've left anything out. I'm sure we'll all catch up soon.

Well, Will is as dense as we all thought because he can’t work out that if she is 8 weeks gone then the baby isn’t his. Not sure why he hasn’t realized, unless it’ll dawn on him at a later date or something like that.

It's strange because he is so obsessed and jealous about Daniel, yet has not questioned how she knows who the father is, and hasn't bothered to count the number of weeks from 19 December.

I think that Will has bought into the lies that Daniel and her are not having sex. It seems to be the only answer

The smoke from the alleyway where Megan and Will have their frantic little chats is very strange isn’t it.

Will is 16 and in lurve. Knowing about scans and dating and stuff is beyond his brain. I assume the smoke is for someone like Lauren to lurk in.

However, Coronation Street Wiki states Will and Megan had an underage relationship which had started before Will moved from Hull.
Guess we will find out more in next few wweks.

DS is pretty reliable.
I thought it was heavily indicated in the episode that it was his first time.
Anyway, we'll see how it pans out and how dim he really is.

Coronation street is definitely going through a boring phase for me. Not interested in Shona, even less interested in Megan & Will. They’re the two big storylines atm. Carla & Lisa ….just boring now, the only thing that keeps me watching is hoping Todd escapes from Theo.

Jodie reminds me of the storyline years ago where the nutty nanny seduced Martin Platt, does anyone remember that??

I find the friendship between Roy and Carla totally unbelievable, he's just odd, no warmth to him

@GrillaMilla - oh yes, Carmel the nanny. She was obsessed with Martin, totally bonkers, I don't think he ever slept with her but she said he did.

It goes back years and years though to Hayley working for Carla & then Carla supporting them when Hayley got cancer & I think she also helped Roy cover up the assisted suicide, so there is a history over decades that binds them together, even if they don’t naturally fit.

So at last Kit has encountered Jodie, and knows she was tied up in the back of a van. I doubt he’s going to keep that a secret for long.

It’s really unbelievable that Shona would spend so much time at home pestering Jodie, rather than at the hospital with her prem baby. She was so desperate for a child and now she virtually ignores her!

Nina is so awful. All she does is hang around and snark. She’s like an older Lauren, neither of them should work with other humans!
