I'm still watching. It's my treat on a Wednesday morning to watch the episodes back to back.

Yes me i think shes a nurse or health care assistant now ?
After a few very boring weeks i think story lines picking up again.

Still watching. I have gone from tapping my fingers waiting for the episode drop to being badly behind! Fingers crossed those darn kids aren’t featuring as much!

After a few incredibly boring weeks.

I’m just in 1987 now.! I’ve binged watched in about a year and got through the first four years!
I don’t mind about spoilers but when does Billy get together with Sheila? And is Madge really a con woman?!

I dont really want to spoil it for you but yes Madge cant be trusted
And Billy and Sheila get together gradually after when her and Bobbys relationship breaks down when they are both greiving
At the point you are watching is Doreen still around ?
I cant remember.

Yeah Billy and Doreen are together and Rod is about to join the police . I honestly don’t mind spoilers, I just watch for fun now !

Sheila became homeless so Billy offered her a place to stay and they gradually got together.

Im guessing your not up to the Damon tragedy yet??

Watch the Damon and Debbie Soap bubble spin off its on STV
The acting is really crap and its all a bit unbeleivable but it makes sense of the whole storyline

I remember how my school mates raved about the spin off. I hadn’t started watching Brookside at that point and it still hasnt got to the point where I began. I watched the spin off when I got to that point in the story line and I enjoyed it a lot. So much location shooting capturing the real world as it was then; the uni, York, the fashions. Well worth a watch. Oh yes and the ‘tech’!

Damon has only just met Debbie , a few episodes back. It’s early 1987 now. I’ve managed to binge watch Brookie in about a year - from the beginning to now. That’s over four years worth .

How many spin offs were there in the 80s? Is it Damon and Debbie and also going South? That’s where Tracy went to London? Are they both available on STV?

I take it they were specials and weren’t t actually part of the normal soap series ?

Just those two and yes they are both available on STV
Yes they were both specials but they tied in with the brookside storylines as well

I’ma few episodes behind but am flabbergasted that in the early 90s that prams were just put loose in a taxi. When did they start using car seats for babies I wonder ?

I thought that was legally still allowed now with black cabs at least.

I’ve been in a taxi where our daughter was in a buggy asleep. Might have been an Uber , or a taxi company , must be legal. The driver for the ramp out to allow us to board the buggy

Is it just me or does the new Sue and Terry storyline feel completely out of sync with what was happening before?

She was desperate for a baby and this u turn doesn’t really fit with everything so far.

Yes its a big turnaround but probably because of the way this story line pans out.

Im quit enjoying the little stories with not alot happening. Just easy watching..
