It's all happening in the street!

Todd continues to be abused and manipulated by nasty Theo.

Carla is being kept hostage by evil Undead Becky the Bay City Roller! Lisa (Swain) is pining for Carla who she thinks has gone away on holiday, (but Lisa still did the deed with Undead Becky!)

Nasty Ma Driscoll has been turfed out of The Rovers Return by her son Ben, after her horrible Christmas day stunt of revealing to everyone that Eva has had an abortion.

Will Driscoll is jealous of Daniel 'dating' his attractive older woman (well, she's around 28, but is still older compared to him as he is still at school! And to make things worse she is his sports coach!)

Costello has been beaten up and is still in hospital.

Tall Kit and Sarah Platt are still an item.

Shona is not far off having hers and David Platt's baby.

DeeDee's left the show after conveniently being offered a high flying lawyer job in Singapore!

Carl, the Chuckle Brother has been getting down and dirty with James Bailey (again!) whilst Abi is totally oblivious. She is also oblivious to the fact that Carl is trying to find a way to move away from her (abroad) even though Abi has left Kevin for him (and took her son too!) Some may say it serves her right! 😬

Evelyn has come back again - hopefully for good this time!

I have probably missed some stuff! But we can catch up later! :)

I’m excited for tonight’s episode and the build up to Corriedale. I wonder who becomes a cropper? Hopefully Theo and Becky, but I imagine both storylines will run into 2027, long past the point where viewers give a shit any longer, in true longwinded Corrie style.

Abi was already on her way home when Barry Chuckle and James made a move for the bedroom. She was at the front door when they had finished! The flat can only be 5 minutes from Kevs. That’s a proper quickie by anyone’s standards!

James was dressed and out the door 3 seconds after Abi turned round to go to the car. He was wearing about six layers too! How does anyone get dressed that quickly?

Thanks for the new thread OP! Am I the only one who is sick of the two manipulative storylines that seem to be never ending i.e. Theo and Todd and Becky and Carla, also what's with soap world fixation with kidnapping? EastEnders, Emmerdale and Corrie all have had these unbelievable dramas!

I'm hoping that the tiny doubt Abi felt when she found the necklace, and which was put on the ignore pile when Chuckle Brother said he had found it, will keep niggling at her and demand to be considered.

I was glad TC Driscoll was dealt with and that her behaviour disgusted so many who witnessed it rather than it being ignored so she could carry on. I hope she leaves and doesn't miraculously turn nice so she can stay on the street.

Just a heads up, I was watching Corrie on the ITV app the other day and got a trailer for Corriedale which was definitely a bit spoilery 🙄

I've only just watched the Christmas episodes. The one good thing was Ben ordering Ma Driscoll out of the house.

Who hit Daniel? Presumably grim faced Will, he really is like his grandma! (Anyone remember when it was 'who hit Ken' and it turned out to be Daniel, with a book.)

I can't stand Ma Driscoll. Her acting is so OTT. No subtlety at all but that's possibly how she's directed to play it. She makes me think of a pantomime Dame!!

It really is bad isn't it, just one-note-villain, the constantly smirking and snarking - very panto.

I meant to say, how didn't everyone at lunch notice Todd's face of dismay and terror? Surely Summer or Christina would notice. At least Billy obviously did. He knows Todd very well and can see what's going on.
