It's all happening in the street!

Todd continues to be abused and manipulated by nasty Theo.

Carla is being kept hostage by evil Undead Becky the Bay City Roller! Lisa (Swain) is pining for Carla who she thinks has gone away on holiday, (but Lisa still did the deed with Undead Becky!)

Nasty Ma Driscoll has been turfed out of The Rovers Return by her son Ben, after her horrible Christmas day stunt of revealing to everyone that Eva has had an abortion.

Will Driscoll is jealous of Daniel 'dating' his attractive older woman (well, she's around 28, but is still older compared to him as he is still at school! And to make things worse she is his sports coach!)

Costello has been beaten up and is still in hospital.

Tall Kit and Sarah Platt are still an item.

Shona is not far off having hers and David Platt's baby.

DeeDee's left the show after conveniently being offered a high flying lawyer job in Singapore!

Carl, the Chuckle Brother has been getting down and dirty with James Bailey (again!) whilst Abi is totally oblivious. She is also oblivious to the fact that Carl is trying to find a way to move away from her (abroad) even though Abi has left Kevin for him (and took her son too!) Some may say it serves her right! 😬

Evelyn has come back again - hopefully for good this time!

I have probably missed some stuff! But we can catch up later! :)

I had a dream about Billy last night! I dreamed he was doing a house clearance for me, good old Billy still being helpful in the afterlife

Yeah that's it. Todd is trapped again, just when he thought Billy would help/save him...

Billy had him realising that this was not love and that he needed to get away. Now Todd is back second guessing everything and is trapped again now he doesn't have Billy in his corner. I really hope this doesn't go on for too much longer but I fear it will.

I'd like Sean Bean to batter Theo too. Billy could have been sent to a nice country parish.
Dr Harper could have been a sperms donor and be Summer's dad.

Billy’s funeral, will George and Todd be the funeral home? It’s going to heart wrenching. And who will be the vicar conducting the service? Because Billy always did the funerals in the street. Perhaps it will be the Bishop at Weatherfield Abbey.

I presume whoever the Vicar of the parish is will lead the service. Or a higher up. Or just another Vicar friend.

I think the Bishop would be appropriate.

Wasn't Billy more than a lowly vicar? I thought he gained a promotion somewhere along the line.

I thought the same and googled it. He was promoted, but decided to go back to "just" a Vicar after Paul died. However, he didn't actually have a parish to vicar in.

They are really milking Summer’s crying. She is very good at it.

When Theo was chirping about how lovely Billy was I wanted Todd to blurt out “you’ve not stopped slagging him off, you hated him!”

Shona resembles a girl at school I didn’t like much , so I have taken against her and she isn’t having a good time of it either with the baby :(

I am speculating that the next big storyline will be Summer's mother (who ever she is) will turn up.After all, some woman must has been pregnant and gave birth to her. In true Corrie style it will be someone already in the street.
Also Billy and his vicaring. Sorry, Billy fans, but it seemed to be non existent.
He just seemed to wander up and down the street wearing a clerical collar, or standing in the Rover's with a bottle in his hand.
He must have been the envy of all real life vicars.

Another really good episode, I never realised what a good actress Harriet Bibby is, the scene in the undertakers with Summer made me feel a bit tearful. And Todd is doing a brilliant job at conflicted/disgusted, he clearly doesn’t even like Theo any more, and is very suspicious about his sudden interest in and praise of Billy.

Things are starting to fall apart radically for Carl, thank goodness.🎉

I liked Debbie’s scene with Abi.

The Swain and Becky scenes were terrible because they involved Swain and Becky. Swain is a detective who interrogates suspects yet cannot even think of a response when threatened by a prisoner, just sits there gawping.

I’m confused by the Becky / Lisa thing because I don’t know enough about the dead storyline or what Costello had to do with it. Becky clearly has her by the short and curlies though.!
