Todd continues to be abused and manipulated by nasty Theo.

Carla is being kept hostage by evil Undead Becky the Bay City Roller! Lisa (Swain) is pining for Carla who she thinks has gone away on holiday, (but Lisa still did the deed with Undead Becky!)

Nasty Ma Driscoll has been turfed out of The Rovers Return by her son Ben, after her horrible Christmas day stunt of revealing to everyone that Eva has had an abortion.

Will Driscoll is jealous of Daniel 'dating' his attractive older woman (well, she's around 28, but is still older compared to him as he is still at school! And to make things worse she is his sports coach!)

Costello has been beaten up and is still in hospital.

Tall Kit and Sarah Platt are still an item.

Shona is not far off having hers and David Platt's baby.

DeeDee's left the show after conveniently being offered a high flying lawyer job in Singapore!

Carl, the Chuckle Brother has been getting down and dirty with James Bailey (again!) whilst Abi is totally oblivious. She is also oblivious to the fact that Carl is trying to find a way to move away from her (abroad) even though Abi has left Kevin for him (and took her son too!) Some may say it serves her right! 😬

Evelyn has come back again - hopefully for good this time!

Undead Becky is the absolute best! When, oh when, will she get her comeuppance?
And Lisa is such a limp lettuce! I thought she was an intelligent policewoman who would see through Becky by now.

Agree! Lisa is a wimp, and 'Undead Becky' is my fave saying for Becky!

I read that the fallout from the Corriedale episode will impact both soaps and change lives forever, (or something dramatic like that!)

The episode is stand alone, but the repercussions from the episode will be played out in both soaps afterwards, but the crossover of characters is just for the one off episode. So I think you need to watch it so that Corrie makes sense going forwards IYSWIM.

As someone who knows a bit about wigs, I think Undead Becky's hair is real.
It looks different because it's growing and it's had a darker colour put on.💂

I was thinking that the other night, it's as if she's falling under Becky's controlling spell. Whether that's what the scriptwriters are intending I don't know, it seems a bit subtle for them with their usual one dimensional pantomime sledgehammer.

I watched on itvx (I hardly ever do that as I like to record and then FF the ads!) but it is only a 30 min episode so only one ad break.

I thought it was fairly boring, the storylines were going round in ever decreasing circles, but Evelyn was good again.

Yes. Sometimes the next episode of Corrie is available from early morning that day. Sometimes it's not available til after it though. I don't always watch it 'in advance,' maybe once or twice a month I will.

I find it OK, (ITVX) because I have the premium (it's about a fiver a month.) DH and I watch loads on there, and you get Britbox included too. There's 100s of series of TV programmes, (old, and new, and somewhere in between,) and 100s of films. And it's not all UK stuff. Lots of American stuff too. And more.....

I don’t really like ITVX because I don’t watch it enough to pay to avoid the ads. The Domino o os ad does my head in, even the hedgehog one, and I love hedgehogs!

Where exactly is the room Carla is in? Do we know?

Hmm..not sure if I like the 30 minute format....feels a bit unsatisfying.Maybe just tonight-s stories though.
Guess its all down to production costs and savings for ITV.
The Corrie of my 80s childhood was 30 mins 730pm Mon + Wed only. Adverts during the breaks were prime time and companies paid £££ to advertise then.

I'm afraid the Becky storyline jumped the shark a long time ago, I don't care what happens. Carla will obviously be okay, if Swain, Becky and Betsy all fell down a sinkhole I'd be happy.

I did like that Abi was smart enough to realise something was going on with James and Carl, and do some investigating.

And I like that Ben is not taken in by Ma Driscoll or Will.

What is Tyrone's issue, I wasn't sure? Is it as Evelyn says, he's scared he won't be able to walk so won't try?

Yeah, storylines go in for so long now that we don’t really care about the ending of it, same with Emmerdale

We already pay for Netflix, Disney, Apple & Sky (as I like to record live TV!) so there’s no way I’m paying for ITVX too! Glad you think it’s good value though!

Undead Becky’s acting today was dreadful. I wish this was over.

I watch it at 7am on You Tube - usually about 22mins with no more than 2 ads in it.
Emmerdale is there at the same time.
