I was forgetting Oscar ! Duh 🙄

Vicki has a big following then and both men are good looking too. ( I know that is shallow lol)
Considering how she mouths off to Zoe and Kat , I’m surprised they let her back in the pub !

Slightly off topic, but I cannot imagine how Nicholas 'Angry Ant/Trust me, I'm a Doctor' Bailey will get on in the Strictly Christmas Special considering how "wooden" his acting has been on ee.
Maybe he'll surprise us and actually be animated!

I haven't actually ever watched a Christmas special but I'll probably catch this one on iplayer, just to see how he compares 😄

I do watch strictly , but I missed the Christmas special one last year and didn’t bother catching up with it.
It’s a lot more light hearted than the actual show is and the audience decide.
Tess on the one show , said it had already been filmed etc

On that trailer , there is a shot of Cindy looking all dressed up and flirty. It’s blink and you’ll miss it, but who for I wonder ? It can’t be max or Ian..
Not many eligible men around is there , unless it’s a new character.

I watch some of Strictly and always the Christmas special. As 80s says, it's a lot more light-hearted than the regular one and the judges are always very positive. It's all very cheesy but good fun and I wonder how Antnee will be IRL.

I thought it was a good episode today. It made a change to have some decent acting, I love that Max is back. Poor Zac though, he really is lovesick for Vicki, heaven knows why!

Is it just me, or is there some weird casualty/EE hybrid going on at the minute. There are a lot of hospital trips.

My guesses are that Jasmine dies or something like that. Possibly a nasty accident of some kind, but avoidable.
It’s got to be involving Kat ( going by the help me line)
Hence why myboy , turns up next year.

Or… Kat kills Antnee for lying to her.
It’s all covered up by her and Zoe and they go back to their warmed up Christmas dinner in time for the King’s speech!

I think it's Angry Ant too.
In the trailer, there's a shot of Kat, then Zoe, then Jasmine before Kat cries "Help me".
How many more murders in the Queen Vic over the festive period!

Maybe Kat kills him in self defence.
We know his angry and has this restraining order against him too. Maybe he was a wife beater.

I took it that Linda said 3 children, meaning Lauren, Oscar, and Annie. I thought she missed out Bradley and Abi, because they are dead. I don't think it was written well though, no one in real life would discount the dead 2. I think she should have said "you have fathered 5 children" or "you have 3 children living on the square"

Three children living on the square is a better way of wording it isn’t it. I’m Linda’s defense, she wasn’t around when Bradley and Abi were , so may have been a slip of the tongue there and that’s what she meant?
The writers have messed up there.
I can imagine he will correct her. Most people would.
At least she told him and it wasn’t a big old reveal in a packed bar ( for a change)

I suppose Little Annie is too young to carry off a "I am yer door-ah" scene

Would be a bit dull if it's Anthony. Bit too much of a short stint to have much of an opinion on him. It needed to build up a bit. Maybe Jasmin will kill him and Jack has to be a bent copper again if Oscar asks for his help.

Poor Annie ! Max is a complete flake, but at least she has Oscar and Lauren as half siblings. They seem big on family.

Christmas Strictly was filmed in October. If Antnee does leave for a short while he’ll be back, it would make no sense for him to find out about the kids then disappear. He won't die, surely we won't be that lucky!!

Max was talking about his still living kids - he thought he just has Lauren and Oscar but Linda added in Annie. I’m glad they didn’t drag out the Annie reveal.

Max gave a good speech to Peter. Zoe gave a terrible speech to Jasmine, it felt really forced. They have not even exchanged two words before.

Phil is so much better with Nigel than Julie. She is so clueless. Who is going to pay the care home fees, it is fearsomely expensive. I know Phil is Mr Moneybags but even he doesn’t have that kind of money.

Dr Evil said “I loved her too much” - right so he was a controlling jealous arse hence the restraining order.

I only just realised Zoe was shagging her daughter's boyfriend’s dad. That never clicked before. Maybe the flash forward is a double wedding 😧

Wouldn’t surprise me if it was George. Or Zac. Or Winston.

Liked Ian again being told not to be jealous today. This time by Elaine when he commented on her massive hair :0)

I didn’t get the impression that Julie and Nigel had much in Scotland or many assets , so they may have had help with care home fees if they had stayed there ? Although the rules around any funding is awful if you have dementia or Alzheimer’s as you can’t get continuing health care very easily and care home fees are huge.
They may be better off having carers coming in to them , but Phil probably wouldn’t want this either. Plus he’ll have to pay the care home fees unless social services only assess Julie’s ability to pay for it or whatever Nigel has in the bank or whatever. It’s a bit of a grey area and probably none of it will be addressed on EE!

Cindy hasn’t had any man action ( or been in it much ) this year , so they may have found her a new man !
There isn’t anyone around , maybe George ? He hasn’t really committed to Nicola and they have history.
They make a much more credible couple than E laine and him did anyway.
