Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

You’re correct, Jean thawed out some prawns and they had gone off. They had a wedding dress show in the garage to sell on big Mo’s knock off dresses and she gave them out to everyone and people were ill.

Eastie77Returns · 20/12/2025 22:22

Loved the episode when Sharon to kill Ian with the Carbonara. She also crushed pills in his Christmas pudding. I completely forgot they were briefly married as well during that whole crazy storyline. Amazingly it was all forgotten and they were back to being besties again within a few short months. As you do. Funnily enough it was Max who realised what Sharon was doing and actually tried to save Ian.

@the80sweregreat I don’t know what Yolande is doing with the £2k. I cannot believe she took the money from Kim, who was clearly drunk/not in her right mind when she said she’d give it all to the soup kitchen.

the80sweregreat · 20/12/2025 22:33

Phil was happy to let Sharon try and poison Ian.
He has dubious morals sometimes.
I said at the time that taking the money from kim
was bad :(
A few hundred and let her keep the rest!

Meredusoleil · 21/12/2025 04:06

What I would have done in Kim's situation is hand over the promised £2k but kept the rest, as she said Lauren managed to get a bit more money for the car. But tbh, I likely wouldn't have handed any of it over given that she would need to support herself and her two kids without Howie's income.

Shellingbynight · 21/12/2025 08:27

When you say "Howie's income" you mean the money Howie stole? 😆

Look at it this way. Howie stole £6k from Patrick. Kim's £2k partly pays it back to Patrick and Yolande. Kim was not going to use it to support herself, she said she was going to treat herself to a clothes shopping binge.

She is working, although we never see it, she cut Eve's hair. Kim will just have to live like a normal hairdresser now, rather than swanking around asking for expensive stuff.

When Kim arrived on the Square and moved into the house now owned by Teddy she was married to Vincent .
I could not abide her then and I barely tolerate her now .
She was really quite generous to herself with Vincent;s money , helped herself to some cash from his safe , which wasn;t "his" as Vincent's income sources were dodgier than Howie's .

Agree . Kim has never been a character I've liked . She a bad mother and incredibly selfish to boot .

Shellingbynight · 21/12/2025 09:21

Kim gets a lot of love on the forums but I have never been able to stand her either! She is very selfish and she did help to create a monster in Howie by constantly demanding more stuff.

Thank god we don't have to suffer any more Kimfluencer.

Meredusoleil · 21/12/2025 10:39

Howie did have a regular legit income as a postie though, albeit not a high income.

I love Kim and the Kimfluencer for the comedy value. She makes me laugh and I need a bit of light relief when watching some of the grim storylines in EE (drugs/grooming/rape/knife crime etc).

Eastie77Returns · 21/12/2025 14:13

Howie began his stealing spree after overhearing Kim telling Dee she missed the lifestyle she had with Vincent. She has always been extremely materialistic and I don’t know what kind of parent she is as I’ve literally never seen her interact with Micah and only very rarely with Pearl. But, as she pointed when she dumped him, Howie was behaving dishonestly when she met him so that is essentially who he is and she is not to blame for that. I detest Antnee but he was right when he called Howie a low life criminal.

Dustyfustyoldcarcass · 21/12/2025 18:20

I find Kim funny, but it feels like we are meant to like her, but she isn't the most likeable person - extremely superficial, grabby and materialistic. I don't think a lot of the ladies are that likeable really. Lots of them have very selfish streaks.

Eastie77Returns · 21/12/2025 19:30

Even the nicer women have a dark selfish side to them. I remember sweet and lightness Honey helping with the cover up when she thought Teddy killed Zack and not batting an eyelid about it. The likes of Suki have been rehabilitated to an extent but every now and again her original unpleasant character comes back.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 21/12/2025 20:27

Does anyone whos watched from the beginning remember when the first serial killer was introduced onto the square?

When was the first murder even?

Just thinking about it today

the80sweregreat · 21/12/2025 20:29

According to Wikipedia, Nick cotton was the first serial killer.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 21/12/2025 20:33

What about the first killer?

I was thinking of lucas as the first serial killer

I did like nick, evil as he was

the80sweregreat · 21/12/2025 20:34

Nick did kill a few people and tried to poison Dot once :(

the80sweregreat · 21/12/2025 20:35

Nick was a EE legend. His scenes with Dot were so good. He tried to poison her and said he’d found God.
A true baddie!

Southeastdweller · 21/12/2025 21:03

Nick wasn't a serial killer (three murders or more) as far as I can remember. He murdered Reg Cox but was found not guilty of killing Eddie Royle. I think there was nobody else?

I've recently watched those ones.
Even worse, he tried to get little Wednesday Adams Dotty to put the drugs in Dot's tea 😱

That's where I'm up to watching on u
I skip past the nick cotton bits ,as I can't stand him
He's currently making dot think she's loosing her marbles

Pinkchristmastree6 · 22/12/2025 06:37

It was very predictable Jasmine being Zoe's daughter, and Dr evil being the dad .
I'm bored of this already
I'm looking forward to Stacy returning and her and Max together.
Although maybe he gets together with Linda ,now he knows he has Annie

NowNumber5 · 22/12/2025 07:06

@Pinkchristmastree6 I’m not a fan either but he was a good baddie.
I didn’t like those scenes where he (and Dotty!) played tricks on Dot, to make her feel like she was going out of her mind, really awful.

Southeastdweller · 22/12/2025 07:58

Jay was mentioned for the first time in ages in today’s episode, he’s found a girlfriend up north and is staying with her over Christmas. I haven’t heard anything about the actor since he was (undeservedly) sacked by the BBC a few months ago.

It was nice to see Pat again.
