Yes! I love Vince Gilligan so have been waiting for this to come out. Really surprised there hasn’t been more people posting about it. Just watched first 2 eps tonight and really enjoyed it.

My Apple subscription running out so I don't think I will renew for this just now, problem is OH seems to like it.

I like the Morning show and am looking forward to the next Shrinking. So I'll be keeping Apple. There's often good stuff on it. Ds2 pays for other subscriptions although he's rarely here ( works away). I pay for Netflix, dept Q is on that so I'll keep it for now. I have the ads so not too expensive.

Watched the first episodes and really enjoying it.

The first episode was incredible, the second lacked something for me. I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes!

I detest the way AppleTV releases their shows though - one episode a week 😩 give me the whole series god dammit!

I think from 2am tonight/tomorrow morning. I won’t be checking at that hour, although I did for the last couple episodes of Severance S2!

Oh I hope you like it if you do give it another go! It’s dark and funny and makes me think, plus of course it is exquisite to look at. There’s an episode in season 2 which was shot entirely on film, but it’s a hard episode to watch. It is to Severance as Peekaboo is to Breaking Bad, which I’ve rewatched a lot minus that one. Once was enough!

I’ve watched the first two episodes. Really enjoyed but I am struggling to see how it develops in an interesting way (apparently there’s a 4 season plan!). It feels more like the premise for a Black Mirror episode, or something that would work well as a novel. Essentially there are only two significant characters so far (Carol and the hive mind) - all the other non hive mind characters seemed to be written out as fast as they were written in. The hive mind doesn’t need to communicate with itself so it seems to really limit the dialogue opportunities! I’m sure there’s a plan just struggling to understand what it is

I'm loving it and was gripped from the start which doesn't happen much these days.
I'm suspicious of the aliens motives but at the moment they seem benign, it's very different and I love Rhea Seehorn.

I don’t know how the motives can be described as benign when millions of people were killed during the process! Even those who survived it don’t really exist as individuals with personalities anymore, they’re subsumed by the hive and are just puppets that can be mauled by lions or sexually abused. What if they are still in there somewhere though? It’s so horrifying. I love it!

Loved Breaking Bad and the x files . Not really sure about this . Will keep watching and may get hooked on it .
Heard VG being interviewed on Front Row on radio 4 . He came across very well / very engaging and said the best compliment is when someone says they have rewatched one of his series .

Hello! Catching up the latest episode. I'm enjoying it - I love the Severance vibe about it, and I'm very intrigued - but I find Carol Sturka such a mardy, moody, non-empathy inspiring bitch, that I spend half the time shouting at the telly telling her off. Am I alone on this?

Yes! I know she’s not really supposed to that sympathetic, but I am not even really feeling that much empathy with her losing Helen.

I don’t mind unlikeable characters, I just don’t find her unlikeable in a particularly interesting way?
