It’s an interesting theory but I think there’d be way more refusniks if it held up.

I want to know where all the murderous, venal human tendencies have gone. Is the hive mind the drippy alien consciousness overlaid on the human one, or is the implication there are more decent humans who drowned out the awful humans? I’m not buying this placid equanimity. I’m fairly sure cracks will begin to show soon.

An incredible episode. I loved seeing Carol doing things she enjoyed, the Paraguay scenery, the ending. But for the love of God why won’t Carol ask for the answer machine message to be shortened!

The answer machine is annoying me as well, I kept thinking they might cut it down but they didn't!

How can people not find the answering machine message funny, especially as it’s Patrick (Howard) from Better Call Saul? It must be nice for her to hear any human voice at all, the isolation was so cruel.

Maybe the internet has not been kind to our attention span as a species?

Really loved this latest episode despite nothing much happening - really it was the nothing much happening that made it.

Carol finally breaking was really impactful.

My husband guessed what Carol had written. Her loneliness emanated off the screen - so well acted. Not having to fight for survival and having absolutely zero to do only make it worse.
