How much do you believe the reasons? Surely if someone really wanted a beautiful cottage they could see past that. Maybe buyers don’t want to be in a chain with a couple looking for a dream house on the sea that they might not find in their budget.

Love how they are completely transforming the houses...let's just knock out this blocked up door way and repaint the whole house!

However do people selling their houses genuinely not look at their houses and think perhaps they may need to get rid of the 5246 items of clothing hanging around a room or try to get rid of the dog smell!

Maybe my standards are just very very low. The only family homes I can afford look like the cottage!

Omg the pink house. I have no sympathy for them. Trying to sell a house with no bathroom door and the garden full of weeds? They were just bloody lazy. No wonder no-one wanted to buy it.

Hmm not sure about this show. I love a make over, but this felt a bit disingenuous in its aim to help the owners sell and more about viewers being agog at the state of people’s homes. The cottage still not sold, it’s price or something else they didn’t show us, like something it overlooks that can’t be changed. It’s a huge detached cottage, it’s gorgeous.

They seem vulnerable. That’s not a normal way to live. Feels weird watching it.
