That fireplace is a monstrosity in the inherited house. They really need to knock about £50K off to sell at least.

The probate house kitchen looks so much better without the pink wall.

Some of the finishes in the final reveal are totally fugly.
Can’t remember which programme, possibly one of lasts weeks houses, a wall was painted a deep blue, and the surface was so uneven it looked properly scabby🤮!

I know there is a time issue, but why they couldn’t quickly put 2 rolls of wallpaper up to hide the surface, is anyone’s guess. Dark paint exaggerates every tiny scratch and bump…

They think “dirty stinky house which may always reek slightly of dog no matter how much I clean it, not enough storage space for a retired couple so definitely not enough for a family of four, and if the owners can’t even be bothered to wipe down the kitchen counter before viewings, how motivated are they to actually sell?”

And what other work has been neglected.

I suspect she didn't understand and maybe her late husband made all the money decisions. Could be being unfair to him but can't understand how else she could be in this position if has any financial savvy.

Yeah, purple house is fine upstairs once their stuff is gone. Rest is just redecoration and a lighter kitchen (paint the doors).

Lots of people were sold interest only mortgages and then either the vehicle to pay off the capital failed or it was non existent.

Purple house has good bones (looking past the motorway / pylon view). Kitchen needs a declutter and decent lighting.
