Has anyone heard who's going to be the new owners of the Vic yet
I really didn't take to Elaine at all ,but I did the rest of the family
I think George and Cindy need to get back together

Cindy and George have chemistry , but I don’t mind Elaine really. An Unusual and unique dress sense

I think they were trying to model her on Angie watts ,which I felt didn't work .
And I don't think she goes with George

I agree she doesn't have any chemistry with George. Elaine is fine on her own, George is fine on his own, but together they don't work.

Part of the problem is that they’re both rarely in the show. I expect Colin Salmon is on a big pay rate per episode, more than Harriet Thorpe (they don’t get paid a salary), so he can afford not to work much.

I do like Elaine but casting Colin Salmond as her partner was a big mistake. They are both very good actors in their own right and I like the characters but as husband and wife…it doesn’t work. There is no chemistry whatsoever and he looks closer to Linda in age than Elaine. Very few couples on EE really work or are believable. IMO the characters with the best on screen chemistry are/were Priya & Ravi, Kathy & Rocky and Phil & Sharon. I have never liked or understood Kat and Alfie.

You're right there are so few credible couples, most have no chemistry apart from the ones you mentioned. I'd add Patrick and Yolande, although we rarely see Patrick now. Linda and Mick were good too.

kat and Alfie were good years ago , but now it’s a case of them just hanging around.
Priya and Ravi should get together again , they would be good as a proper couple.

I saw a better chemistry between Priya and Ian but as a friendship.

I think we need Max B back as Lacey is leaving, we need an excellent quality actor is the show. Lacey knocks the socks off everyone else.

I actually could of seen Linda and George together,I did wonder if they would do a story where he supports her with a relapse and they become close
Funny how you never see Annie or Linda's other young child.linda manages to find plenty of childcare for them 😀 I expect with max coming back there will be plenty of Annie on screen then.. assuming it's confirmed max is coming back

I’ve watched today’s episode and it feels like this week is heading for an exit for either Nicola or Zach, maybe both.

Fingers crossed it's Nicola. She has burned all her boats and none of her family want her around.

I don't think they would axe Zack, as he's popular and he's Sharon's brother. But I suppose the actor might want to leave.

I don’t think it’s going to be Nicola, the latest “A Day In The Life” featured her and it’d only been filmed recently as she commented about the warm weather and had a new hair style.

My initial thought was that if someone dies it is going to be Nigel. Because otherwise, why is Nigel in the car? It is a weird choice of car occupant unless something is going to happen to him.

Not Nichola , I kind of like her , despite her very obvious flaws .

Nigel is a good call , Though it would have such a bad effect on Phil. It might bring Sharon back in his life

Linda was being everyone’s listening ear again today .
She is never seen in the pub working or with her little ones ! It is very odd
( the whole episode was strange though )

She’s a spare part these days, I wouldn’t miss her if she left.

There's not many i would miss, they all seem like spare parts recently

Linda is one of the few I would miss because the actress is so good. But they need to work out what they are going to do with her because she's drifting around without a real purpose.

What a bizarre episode last night. The whole Zack plot feels completely pointless, and the way he is handling it is unbelievable. He’s not normally that much of an idiot. He has told half the square about his plan, and now they all stand in a guilty huddle when Nicola or Teddy appears.

But now that Teddy and Harry know about Zack/ Barney, Nicola has no reason to get rid of Zack. Except revenge. She is in so much trouble now that it would be unbelievable if she was still slinking round the Square next week. I suppose killing Teddy would ‘punish’ her, but they have already wrung her character dry.

EE often has daft plots but at least they normally involve people you care about. I don’t care about any of the new Mitchells.

What was the point of bringing in Teddy and family? They barely interact with the other Mitchells.

Eastenders so so ridiculous at the moment, I’m finding it hard to focus. Most exciting thing was the Ramona actress from Cold Feet turning up as the detective.

Oh that's who it was! Thank you, I knew I recognised her. I thought she was really good. With the current EE crime wave we'll probably see more of her!

I thought she looked familiar. And Shazia Mizra was in it last week playing a doctor.

Teddy lost control of the car today that he was driving and now him and Zack are in a lake. I think it will be Teddy who dies later this week.

I know that today’s one was meant to be tension filled, but it wasn’t really ! Getting Nigel and the other Mitchell’s involved was ridiculous. Especially as it all felt like it was around 4 in the morning and why is Nigel so obsessed with very old films? ( I know he used to run a video rental store)
How did H get Zac into that car so easily too, did he drug him up or just hit him? ( I admit I wasn’t paying too much attention though , but it wasn’t made clear !)

The actors who play Zack and Nicola have just done something live on This Morning (don’t know what, I flicked over as it was finishing). So it’s unlikely to be Zack who dies.
