I don’t think Jimmy can be Zac’s, the dates don’t add up? Lauren fell pregnant months after their ONS.

@PomegranateVase Jean and Big Mo have gone to stay with Fat Elvis. So ridiculous.

I’m wondering ( because I think too much about this soap ! ) that Lauren was sleeping with Zac and Pe ta at the same time , but it wasn’t mentioned at all? We saw them together once in the pub alley ( classy !) but who knows ? It’s been rumored on line for ages that Jimmy isn’t Peters child, without anyone noticing any other liaisons or even hinted at , which makes me think it’s just fans making up stories , but this is Eastenders land where people come back from the dead and can move home with a toddler and one bag and a buggy or even less than that sometimes ( also within 20 minutes notice )

Well I think part of the problem was that when Lauren first found out she was pregnant she confided in someone (?) that Peter hadn’t been near her for months. Anyone remember the details of that?

Oh no, that’s such a shame! I was praying he would be Zack’s and not pathetic Peter’s! I really thought she’d been with him very close to being with Peter.

Oh gosh, Fat Elvis! I thought he lived quite locally to them (maybe I’m wrong). It’s so odd.

Yes, I remember Lauren saying they hadn’t been having relations for a while. I can’t remember how she became entangled with Zac , but we saw them together once and then it was forgotten about I think , we didn’t see them sneaking about after that ONS etc.

Does ‘ fat Elvis ‘ live in Dagenham ?
Mo often mentions that area
around an hours drive from them without much traffic.

Yes it may have been Penny she told. But then Peter didn’t seem at all surprised that there was a baby (his baby) on the way. Hmmm…

This is what baffled me. I know Peter is pretty pathetic but I’m sure he knows how babies are made. I really am confused now!

Teddy being replaced so soon is silly ! Usually they go away for nearly a year before they came back as new faces, unless that’s the case here.

I'm hoping it's just rubbish I've read about teddy leaving..

Money is a bug bear of mine as it’s all so sloppy with how they get by and nobody seems to do a day’s work.
Businesses run themselves most of the time too.
You never see deliveries to any restaurant or pub and you rarely hear they have money problems ( which the slaters must have now Martin and Harvey have gone )
Maybe Martin had life insurance or they will sell the stall eventually, but Ruby bought that for him.

Facebook EE pages come up with all sorts ! I don’t mind it , but a lot is speculation sometimes I think.

The multiple rushed/invisible exits are very odd for sure. It started with Sharon, she just disappeared. I feel like Vicky is ‘standing in’ for any scene which would have been Sharon’s (and she’s not very good).

There was no need for Lily to make a night-time dash to Ryan’s, I agree it would have made more sense if she said he was coming to pick her up the next day. We didn’t need to see that happen, it was a Thursday episode so by the Monday she’d be gone and would have had time to say bye to Ricky. It was like they wanted to clear the board of characters in 5 minutes flat!

I think Suki is the landlord for the Slaters now. Unless it was one of hte properties Nish left to Avani and Nugget 😬

I can’t see any reason for Teddy getting a new head, but I can see a lot of reasons to get rid of him completely!

I think the show is probably in the doldrums due to the producer swap. But if the new producer thought any of the last few weeks was a good idea, we’re in for a crap few years!

I’m sure even someone has dimwitted as Pe-ta would have questioned Jimmy’s paternity if he hadn’t slept with Lauren for months but I suppose you never know. I don’t think they’d recycle another secret son storyline for Zack though.

Dagenham sounds about right for Fat Elvis. Off camera relatives/friends of people on the square always live somewhere in Essex and usually in a posh house to show they’ve ‘done well’. Onger was a popular choice for a while, I think Karen’s sister lived there.

Actually I think the conversation may have been before Lauren knew she was pregnant. Something like this (in the caff, I think):

Lauren: I’m still getting these weird pains, low down.
Penny: Could you be pregnant?
Lauren: No, Peter hasn’t been near me for months.

Google says Lauren slept with Zack on 25 April 2024. So no chance it is his.

Some time after that, she got back properly with Peter and presumably they were sleeping together. Unless they are going to rewrite history (always possible!) she hasn't slept with anyonelse.

I found it! Not quite as I remembered. Lauren was talking to Anna in the pub. Anna suggested her symptoms (pain, headaches, sickness) might point to pregnancy. Lauren said “no, Peter hasn’t been near me since everything that’s gone on” but admitted her cycle had been all over the place and went off to take a test, which was positive.

Well done on finding that conversation!

But by that point she was already several months pregnant, she would have conceived shortly before the 'crush' which was at the end of August. So the fact he hadn't been near her for months doesn't matter.

It's a bit crap at the minute for sure .
I miss Ronnie and Roxie .should never of killed them off .
