Arthur looks a bit like Kush. Some good casting there with him and Hope.
I hope that Stacey had some photos of Kush.
At least she acknowledged that she was to blame for Martin not getting out the pub in time because he went back for her etc. Stacey was brilliant today , not an easy episode to act and she nailed it.
It felt late for Freddie to take the washing over to the launderette and I’m sure they used to have a machine as I recall seeing it and someone trying to repair it once as well, but it’s hazy! ( might have been a sink repair though!)
Pe ta is going to leave them to it isn’t he? He will just blame her and not cope with Jimmy’s diagnosis/ appointments and general baby stuff. Probably take off again to see Jane! Or have an affair

ahh! So auntie Lynne is going to have three slaters , Jean is god knows where and Freddie will be on his own for a while. He’ll love the peace and quiet.

So Stacey has gone? (I haven't watched yet.). I thought she'd be in her room for another couple of months before her exit.

Maybe Max is coming back to support Lauren and the baby? Either that or he finds out about Annie. He must be at a loose end because he hasn't shown much interest in Lauren for years.

At least we won't have to suffer a Stacey and Max reunion.

The Vic being auctioned doesn't make sense.

I just saw (in the Sun) that Bernie has been axed and will be leaving later this year. I'm not surprised, she's barely on screen now.

That episode is why I love Lacey.

Lacey Turner is a fantastic actress and played Stacey consistently well over the years. Her and Steve McFadden are two of the best ones in it.
It’s sad that Colin Salmon isn’t in many scenes as he is good too and underused.
Won’t miss Bernie much , we haven’t seen her for ages since Nish died really.

Pe ta didn’t even bring Louis round today to see his new brother :(
It was strange that everything was set in the dark most of today too!
Lily packed up quickly with a toddler , she will also miss a lot of school too.

What an odd episode. Some nice scenes with Lauren and Stacey.

But the ending with the multiple exits felt really rushed. All Stacey got was a line about going to stay with Lynn (forever).

I suppose the Lily actress is doing her GCSEs and will be back later in the year?

I hope Lauren isn't relying on Pe Ta for any support because he's as much use as a chocolate teapot.

I know logic doesn't apply here but Ian and Peter left Lauren and a 2 week old baby at the hospital to struggle home on her own. If a man done that in real life it would be a case of LTB.

I don't know why she struggling home alone (except for plot reasons, so Stacey could have a chat) because Linda said she would stay and see she got home. But I agree Peter walking off is close to a LTB!

Talking of logic, what about Arthur and Hope's schooling? And Lily's!

Wouldn't Stacey's phone data gave been backed up on Cloud or whatever?

Re: the comments about Pe ta's expression, it must be so frustrating for the director, " give me an expression of anger . . .now joy . . .now indifference, and he shows the same expression. Do you remember when Pe ta had a fling with Suki? His look was the same then, just a blank stare.
Re: the pending car accident, could it be George? That might explain the pics of the Vic being auctioned. If Stacey is leaving I hope it's only temporary.

I would have thought they might be saved on her SIM card which could still be salvaged from the actual phone?

I suppose the ability to react as directed is called 'acting'. General agreement on here is that Ferret-Face cannot act.

Today’s episode has explained why there was so much grieving for Saint Martin. I don’t want Stacy to leave. I like her. When Max comes back (hurrah) I would have liked to have seen what happened between them.

How on earth would they cope in that house with that many adults and children and not have a washing machine? Very unrealistic.

In 'real life' Stacey's photos would be on a cloud and Martin's phone would be locked and out of battery. The Slaters would have a washing machine but everyone lives in 1970's world when people regularly used the corner shop, pub, launderette..However it is still my comfort watch. I read that Colin Salmon balances Eastenders with some family responsibilities - maybe he is going.

It is unbelievable how unrealistic it is at times.
Especially the idea that Freddie would be taking over the laundry that time of night and it wasn’t even a full load by the looks of it !

And the Slaters house is one of the only ones who have a washing machine in the kitchen ! ( Freddies lift does not go to the top floor , does it ?)

I can't even go there with the ridiculousness of Stacey's jacket going to the launderette at 10 o'clock at night.

Re Martin's phone, it's believable Stacey (and even Arthur) would know his code so could access it. Isn't Arthur a beautiful child, very well cast!

I can see Lily coming back to the Square very easily. I don't think Lacey will be back for years though so we probably won't see Hope and Arthur.

Lily said a few days ago that Stacey has parental responsibility for Charli though, and was worried about Social services - yet now she can go off on her own to stay with an uncle.
