Don’t fuck with cats. One of the best true crime documentaries ever.

whatnoooow · 18/03/2025 18:59

Making a murderer on Netflix. Best one I’ve ever seen

Gdrenf32 · 18/03/2025 19:31

Dear Zachary is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever watched

Am going through a bit of a documentary phase - ones I've enjoyed recently:

David Holmes - the boy who lived (about the young Harry Potter stunt actor who became paralysed during the making of the 7th film).

Free solo - about Alex Honnold who climbed El Capitan free solo

Super/Man - Christopher Reeve documentary

Boyzone: No matter what

The Woman Who Wasn't There - about a woman who pretended to be a 9/11 survivor, made up an entire back story, became the president of a survivor's organisation and was eventually exposed. It's utterly bizarre.

Where can I watch this please?

Where can I watch this please?

Hey coolmum, it's on YouTube - I'll try and post a link, but if it doesn't work it's on the Real Stories channel. It's well worth a watch!

Neverland 2 has just been broadcast about Michael Hackson and the two young boys. I haven’t watched it yet, but neverland - 1 ,broadcast in 2019) was fascinating.

fruitypancake · 18/03/2025 21:53

Into the Fire on Netflix.

whatnoooow · 19/03/2025 14:14

Black fish - not really a crime doc but it’s about the treatment of killer whales in sea world. It’s shocking

CityofOliveBranch · 19/03/2025 19:29

American Murder: The Family Next Door
on Netflix.

I’ve watched this a few times, and it’s still shocking and jaw-dropping.

Ruby Franke on Disney plus? Oh my god it was horrific what she put those kids through.

Also ‘Anatomy of Lies’- jaw dropping!

Haven’t seen the first one - but will be looking into it now.
anatomy of lies made me a bit sick if I’m honest but couldn’t stop watching it

Adolescence on Netflix

Not a doc

Iammorethanenough · 19/03/2025 19:38

Wild Wild Country…honestly the most completely batshit programme I’ve ever watched. A religious movement buys up land in Oregon and relocates their Ashram from India to the US, establishes their own laws and clashes with the locals and the FBI.

Buried: The 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche
