I wouldn’t call Joel an incel, I think he’s a misogynistic and psychopathic pervert! Like Dominique Pelicot. His father is so manipulative as well.
Also, I think Kathy is almost as bad as Cindy - her character is painted sympathetically but she is such a hypocrite. She abandoned her children and faked her own death just like Cindy did and is actively having an affair.

I think it was mentioned that Joel is doing GCSEs - he was talking about revision with Avani.
Did anyone notice that in today’s episode he lied to Ross that Avani was the one who asked him to film even though he filmed her without consent? He tells lies so easily, and so does his dad, Ross. It’s interesting that Ross didn’t say anything about how disrespectful or hurtful his actions were but only told him off because of the potential legal consequences to Joel, nothing about the consequences to the victim - I don’t think Ross has much respect for women. I wonder what the story is with Joel’s mum. Vicki will probably come to regret cheating on Spencer with Ross!

Yes and Vicky was laughing when they caught the kids. I know she's not a mum or aware of the situation with Joel but surely she would have some sense to know it wasn't funny.
I know this is a soap but it just seems so badly written.

I agree, Ross seemed a lot more upset that Vicki but we were to find out it was because of the history. I did find it annoying the way Vicki undermined Ross’s parenting before she knew the truth and was trying to convince Ross that it was normal. But remembering her storylines as a teenager on Eastenders (and even her mum Michelle’s storylines), perhaps it was normal for her.

What a ludicrous episode, even by usual EE standards. Cindy and Lauren shrieking at each other in the labour ward while Cindy fills us in on her back story. Do mums giving birth really keep their own clothes on? I thought she would be given a gown or something. Cindy is an annoying, shrill, spiteful, fire-breathing, venom-spitting harpie. Sick of the sight and sound of her so hope she self-combusts soon.

I’m half concentrating when I watch just lately but Ross only told Vicki about the upskirting right not about filming Avani

they will have more to worry about than paying off the family when Ravi and Priya find out

I hope they handle this situation well on the show

i suspect we’re about to see lots of scenes with her and Yolande as they’ve grown close

Sorry, I was thinking before that Joel was an ‘ Incel ‘ but he clearly isn’t! Just a nasty horrible individual
I hope that Ravi gets wind of what’s going on .. I don’t fancy Joel’s chances with him !

I admit that when I see New Vicky and co on screen I am also zoning out too!

New Vicky is so dull and bland, she brings nothing. I completely tune out when she’s on screen. I also have to fast forward scenes with Peter. He must be related to someone important on the show, I cannot otherwise understand how he still has a job. His acting is absolutely atrocious and I wonder how Adam and Michelle feel when they are in scenes with him. It’s truly embarrassing.

I think Joel is a sexual predator who keeps trophies of his victims, and his behaviour is escalating! Truly nasty.
It’s striking how similar between Kathy and Ian and Peter and Cindy is. But the storylines are kind of dragging on.

I liked the old Peter ! ..
They all seem to be struggling a bit lately , maybe things might improve once the pub is re opened?
I can’t see Lauren and Peter staying together.

New Peter has always been wobbly but he's getting worse which is bizarre. He was the original Peter but I guess as a good looking kid he got away with being mediocre. Both other Peters were better than him and they weren't exactly Laurence Olivier!

I can't see Lauren and Peter staying together either. As soon as someone else takes her fancy she'll be off. She'll probably leave the kids with him, she never seems bothered about Louie!

The only thing I think Cindy has any entitlement to would be Beales eels , as she is a co owner of the business . They are not married so everything else is Ian's .

If you haven't watched today's episode, don't bother.

Its 25mins of revealing the new vic whilst Nigel goes on about VE Day and Claire.

Possibly the worst episode in a long while (and theres stiff competition for that)

I haven't watched yet either. The actress who plays Elaine said in an interview that the Vic would look exactly the same!

I thought they might jazz it up a bit at least ! Lol

I’ve got over a week’s worth of episodes to catch up on. Have just started the 28th April and wondered if anyone knew where Nicola’s black dress with the neck detail is from. I really like it. No judgement please, I’m partial to the mob wives look. I can find a Reiss top that looks similar via google image search but it looks like she’s wearing a dress to me.

I liked Nicola’s black dress too! She did look nice.
She has a nice figure, it would look awful on me.

Would look awful on Me too . If the actress is tall(ish) she can carry those lovely clothes . I liked the skirt (leather?) with a split up it she wore some weeks ago.
