Well well well! Who knew that telling a detective ‘ your wet behind the ears and need a plaster ‘ could let you off a possible murder charge! lol
Although they didn’t have that much to go on tbf.
Nic must have been careful not to touch the body too , they clearly haven’t any DNA from her ( yet ) ..
She has a criminal record, so easy to marry up from a police perspective.
Another poor episode with the Mitchells though. Despite the doof doof.

Priya was funny though.

Sharon has 'gone to stay with Jada'. I am trying to get my head around Jada living anywhere which would have appropriate accommodation for Sharon....

Oh yes, Jada and the grandchild.
Im guessing that she isn’t too bothered by Albie missing school then !
Strange that Joe (90) is featuring a lot, yet Nu Vicky and Ross haven’t had much to do. I know he was in it today ( briefly ) but they are keeping them on the back burners I think.
Be nice to have the Vic pub back.
Felix is wrong for Johnny : he needs someone less flaky and more committed. I know Felix is off soon.

I agree about Felix being wrong for Johnny. I cannot see any chemistry between them at all. I wonder how long Johnny is going to be around, now Linda is better he can go back to his important solicitoring.

Impossible to have a romantic night in or a deep meaningful chat when you live with half the square.
Does Felix still live with Chelsea? What became of him once Gray sold the house etc?

Finally caught up. Obviously the new Mitchell clan don't follow the same "don't be a grass" motto as the originals. Teddy didnt think this through, it's pretty obvious that Benji is prime material to be an informant, so he's probably going to set nic up or just tell Harry directly.

Wtf is Joel buying drugs for Avani? Is he some kind of drug pusher or what?

Nicola is proper spooked this time.

Teddy has been a plank the whole way through this.
It’s true, he didn’t think it through and Benji or one of his hence men is going to try and kill her now , that’s if H doesn’t himself ( once he finds out the truth, which is bound to happen eventually I suppose!)
All this because she couldn’t tell him that Barney wasn’t his son !

Joel is obviously dodgy.
I hope that Amy stays away from him.

Yes. Amy seems to have got the measure of him early on. Unlike Avani 🙄

I don’t think Joel needs to push anything on Avani, she was trying to buy the drugs herself! I feel a bit sorry for Avani because she’s got Priya for a mother but Avani is still an idiot.

So now Harry knows Nic is much more involved than she claimed. I can’t remember what he heard so not sure if she can weasel out of it. But the scenes with the police were ridiculous. They would not question her at her kitchen table surrounded by family, they would take her in for formal questioning. As if they would let her talk her way out of it, they have met one or two guilty villains before.

No doubt Callum or Jack will end up embroiled in the investigation despite it not being on their patch

Most police procedures shown is so different to what would happen in real life ( I don’t have any experience myself, but you just know a lot of this is total fiction)
They usually storm the pub for their suspects , so her being at home was unusual!

Avani is so vulnerable, she hasn’t long gotten over her lucky escape from the creepy older boyfriend and now she has the creepy Joel sniffing around her! I like her adventurous nature but she doesn’t really know how to spot danger.

I just remembered the girl Penny spoke to about Shireen when the new Mitchells moved to the square and how she was last seen with Nicola. Now that Nicola’s involvement is public knowledge (even if not the extent of it), I wonder how Zack will react. Will he put 2 and 2 together to realise Nicola was lying earlier? She’d said Teddy killed Shireen but Teddy clearly wasn’t involved and now Zack knows how violent Nicola can be given what she’s done to him. He also knows what Nicola did to Barney with paying Tommy and Joel to bully him. Will he come clean to Teddy about Barney’s parentage in a fit of protectiveness?

Joel will attack Avani I bet :(
He is such a sleaze ball. She just can’t see it.
I Am bored with the whole Nicola saga. Enough now.

So at the end of the year (and the series) is she actually going to begin working as a carer? I couldn't really tell but it seems unlikely?

Cynical as usual, I suspect this project is more about Natalie making money, maintaining her brand and promoting her book, which is out in the autumn. Apparently she is "fulfilling her genuine ambition of a lifetime to train as a carer", but I've never heard her say that in the interviews she's done that I've read.

That was exactly my thought @Southeastdweller ! I think it's all about the filming.

She says her ambition is to train as a carer. Not actually work as one 😆
