So is Jumpers setting up Nicola? !

I disagree ref Harry befriending Kojo. And about Barney making friends with other nt kids.
kids are far more accepting of diversity nowadays.
I have huge experience, personal and professional with neurodivergence, with SEN, learning disabilities, physical disability etc and people like us have friends, go on the pull, and live lives just the same as everyone else, I think it’s fab that eastenders is using autistic actors and having their characters as part of a local and thriving community just as they would be where I live.
id hate to think that someone would say my kids being part of a youth culture and society ‘just wouldn’t happen’ or is overdone and unrealistic !

I hope so! I am so over her. I actually like teddy and he deserves to know about Zak. Zak is an ok guy and with all her bravado I don’t know why she’s kept this secret so long and let it lead her to murder

Hey, I didn’t mean to offend anyone with my comments below about Harry and Kojo! I just think that someone like H wouldn’t be interested or friends with someone like him, but only because his such a player and ( at first anyway) isn’t that nice. He has had a brother who has SEN, so maybe this is why the writers have teamed them up and it is nice to see Kojo with friends and family , but I just can’t see the likes of Harry being like this with him if it was in real life ( which of course it isn’t!)
However, it is some light relief from other storylines and at least Gina realized that H was using him a bit to win her round. Which was a bit cheeky !
I loved the friendship with Shirley and Hev , so maybe this might be the same over time ?
anyway, hope I didn’t offend anyone with my comments! Just musings really and I like Kojo. I just hope they continue to write him some decent storylines.

I agree with you re Harry 80s, he just does not seem the type to befriend Kojo really. He doesn't seem the type of have any friends to be honest! I have enjoyed Kojo's comments to Harry though. He is quite funny, he has had a complete personality transplant since he first arrived.

Loved the scene around Sonia’s kitchen table, Kojo seems to be blooming.
Harry’s grown on me recently.

Maybe my attention span is shot due to old age , but I watch each episode without doing something else and I still struggle sometimes with the ‘word salad ‘ dialogue and how things pan out ! One minute Jumpers is asking for a loan , then he decides to do something else. . Nicola and him are back and forth to Dartford as if it’s only a five minute drive away. It jumps about too much sometimes ( or I’ve zoned out ? lol)
Pleased we have a few EE threads and Facebook groups as I know I’m not the only one who sometimes struggles to keep up with developments sometimes !

Phil and the Magic Safe

Yep, the magic safe! Phil might need that money for Nigel though !

I think Harry is going to turn out to be nicer than he originally seemed when they arrived on the square. We saw how he was with Shireen’s brother. He seems more of a ‘Jack the lad’ character than truly sinister like Nicola is. I remember he was getting into fights back in Dartford when they first arrived and we never found out why. Perhaps he will end up being like a new Martin like character.

It was good to see a nice side to Harry in these last few episodes.

Who was beating up H in Dartford that time?
Agree that he may turn into a nicer character over time.
Not much mention of any of the Mitchells next week in my tv guide. Dunno what will happen with the dead girl and so on ?

I’m not sure that episode made a lot of sense really.

I can understand that Phil has £100k from selling Peggy's, but why on earth would he lend it to Teddy rather than buy the club back? He said “I know you’re good for the money”. Well no clearly he is not good for the money as he is having to borrow it from you!

Jumpers agreed they must not throw Benji under the bus. Then threw Benji under the bus.

Nic was very keen to chuck £150k at Benji though, so maybe Jumpers realised Nic actually did it. Maybe knew Benji would chuck Nic under the bus. He did seem thoughtful when Phil said that with a woman like that you are always going to be having to dig holes.

I do not care about Harry even a tiny bit. Maybe they are trying to give him a nicer side but I don’t think the actor is up to it, he’s quite wooden. Kojo outacts him in every scene.

Which character was ND Shirley or Hev or both?

Hev I think

Heather and Shirley were just chalk and cheese
characters , but it worked. A lot of Heather’s issues was because of her horrible upbringing and abusive mum ;(
I was so gutted when they killed her off , she was pleasant and kind and people liked her.

The stuff between Harry and Kojo seems straight out of the predadory 1970s to me

Aww! I did like Heather !! She was so kind.
I can see why some didn’t like her , but Ben killing her off was horrible.
So, where is it going now with Benji and the body and so on ? They are scarcely mentioned next week at all , so maybe it’s on the back burner now ?

It was only a few months ago that Harry was blackmailing Gina about her one night stand with Freddie, but now he really likes her and she's smiling coyly at his attempts to chat her up? WTF?!

Hmm, changing people’s characters is the way forwards for so many on EE.
Suki was the same , came into the show pretending to be poorly and that was a lie. The whole episode around Jags and then they do a 360 turn on her. Other people too have had this happen.
Even Janine could be pleasant sometimes ! But you knew it wouldn’t last at all with that one .. lol

Nicola's attempts at looking angry/hostile/scary are laughable. She narrows her eyes and screws up her mouth like a cat's bum with an angry wasp in it. Really hope she clears off for good soon.

...and I expect her parting shot at Ted will be to tell him about Zac.
