Today was abysmal. I had high hopes for Nicola but she is such a caricature.
the retelling of the whole murder story while she was digging and wearing trainers was laughable. Channel five straight to tv movie Fayre .

Yes, the whole ‘ talking out loud ‘ bit with Nic was just funny and only so now we can go ..
’ ahh, so H’s girlfriend knew Barney wasn’t Teddy’s’
.. still confused if Benji killed or her if she did and he buried her ? I assume she was lying to T that Benji actually killed her though? She was desperate today to be believed!
She also got to Daartford really quickly in a van she hadn’t driven before.
Plus T didn’t have the clues to X marks the body, yet found her straight off!
Bit strange to kill to keep that secret. Especially as she could have denied it ; Shireen must have had proof etc.

I’m a bit bored with Avani tbh and Nicola too.
Nic may as well tell Jumpers the truth, it’s becoming like the six now where everyone will know eventually!

I'm glad Cindy is coming back. I like her, always have. She can move into Dots with Peter et al. That would be fun for Lauren 😢
Junior is a pointless character now that story is done, but they have roped him in to Jumpers new development for some reason.
Was Nicola just going to run off again after how upset Barney was last time. I wanted her to be a strong woman that EE used to be famous for but not to be, she's horrible.
The story telling while digging is a daft way to tell the story.
Johnny Sausage and Felix is just a non starter.
As for Harry teaching Kojo how to pull, that would never happen
Again the Avani story could have been powerful but it's slipped into farce.

Whitney and Stacey have carried EE for years with some gritty and heavy storylines. Yolande and Patrick carried a weighty storyline last year. I miss the old days, Archie, Roxy, Ronnie in the pub; lock-ins in the Vic; the Dagmar; Mrs Hewitt; Slater sisters; Roly and Willy: the Jacksons; Roy, Barry and Pat; Frank - all memorable for many great reasons. Let's see what the 40th year brings!

Agree that someone like Harry wouldn’t befriend Kojo. He may help him at work or be a bit understanding of his blunt attitude because of how he is with people, but going out ‘ on the pull ‘ with him or even for a friendly drink is incredibly doubtful really.
The writers may argue that having Barney in his life has made him more tolerant to others with SEN, but I still feel it’s a bit overdone here really. Although today with the girl and the drink was funny and I do think that Gina likes him really. (Not sure why though !)
Felix will break Johnnys heart , probably that’s why he’ll leave I suppose. Not that anyone will really miss him much as his hardly in it.

Today really was abysmal.

How did Shireen know about Barney/Zack? That seems extremely unlikely.
And Nic shouting the odds while digging a hole was ridiculous.
As was Priya shouting the odds in the police station YET AGAIN.
And Barney wailing about Avani.

The only thing I did like about Teddy and Nic was him knowing she was lying. He knows she killed Shireen and Benji just dug the hole.

Suki was the only good thing about the episode.

I wonder whether Nicola had had a secret DNA test done on Barney (perhaps when he was a baby) and Shireen found the results letter?

Having said this, she’d have had to submit DNA from Teddy for comparison - or else sent Harry’s and asked whether they shared a father?

Why would Nicola have wanted to know though? It was in her interests to assume Teddy is Barney's dad.

Do we know where Nicola and Zak met?

Yes, in the gym. He was her PT.

If I was going to bury a body on a disused building site (have possible candidate) I wouldn't do it in the open in the middle of a car park. Can you get a phone app to locate a buried corpse?

DH and I chuckled at the fact that Nicola pinpointed the EXACT spot where the body was supposed to be.
Not only that but the soil was easier to dig than our garden, considering it must have been compacted by vehicles for many years! Or she's got muscles like a builder 💪🏼

She was using What3Words. I did like the idea that Benji has dug holes for every criminal in London😆

She was digging loose aggregate and soil so it must have been the ground round the edge of the car park I suppose. Good to see that as well as her lovely dresses she possesses corpse digging clothes.

Teddy is really looking out of his depth!

Benji looks like a man who would be knocked flying by a puff of wind, but his clearly very dangerous and knows precisely ‘ where the bodies are buried ‘ ! X marks the spot ( or three words in this case)
Did anyone watch Danny Dyer on ‘ the assembly ‘ ( ITV Saturday night )
He didn’t mince his words around the old producer and how he didn’t like the Carters.
Not seen it today , probably more rubbish about dead bodies.!

Body will be bit messy by now 🤑.

I bet she finds either nothing at all , or just the jewellery ! Bit like Dee did.
Besides , even if Benji dobbed her in , it sounds as if they have things on him too and she could say she stole the jewellery from her , that bit is circumstantial evidence. However, she is clearly panicked!

I think from what Teddy said, no one can dob Benji in because he would in turn dob in half the criminal underworld so no one dares touch him!

I had thought she'd be finding a skeleton but maybe decomposition wouldn't be that far advanced 🤮

I don’t know why this soap confuses me so much , but are they keeping the club ( or not?) why ( or how ) has Phil got 100,000 spare and who was that at the end?
Who also dobbed in Benji etc?
Kojo is funny. His a nice character.

It was Teddy at the end, watching Benji’s arrest from his vehicle.

Presumably they won’t now need to sell the bar (or borrow from Phil’s Magic Safe), as Benji’s only had a down-payment of £20k and won’t be back to claim the rest of his “fee”. Unless he sends his boys round…

I did think it was Teddy jumpers ( much more sensible )

Another silly episode, all this so that Teddy doesn’t discover Barney’s true parentage!
( On the old Jeremy Kyle show they just used a DNA test or a lie detector)
