I didn't get the vibe Harry is gay. I think it was lads bantz was to show what good mates they were and what great times they had before Nicola ruthlessly offed Shireen.

Even if Harry was gay why would Nic kill Shireen? She'd kill Asad surely. Although I don't know why she'd care anyway.

I really don't think the reason for nic killing her was anything to do with protecting Harry from anything. After all she is quite a superficial mum and who only seems to care about herself. She's done nothing but throw the whole false alibi in Harry's face since she arrived. So she's likely done it to cover her own back or through jealousy, if there was a thing with jumpers and shireen.

I had forgotten about H and Penny but people were speculating on Facebook about him and the brother.
I agree that Nicola is only interested in herself , but must be a reason she wanted H’s ex gone. Especially as she was pregnant. You’d think that Nic would love being the doting grand mum.

I don’t get her involvement with organising Martin’s funeral though (I mean, I know it’s because Stacey’s gone) but why Jean?

What job does Junior do? Obviously some kind of businessman, but in what field?
We’re led to believe he’s in property now?

@InALonelyWorld yes agreed, Nic did not do this for Harry, she did it for her own reasons. As I said above, I think Shireen found out something about Nic. Nic bleats on about 'doing everything for my boys' but everything is always about her.

Maybe he found her ‘ crown jewels’ or she just liked his stripey jumpers.
Juniors job has always been a bit vague , but clearly he had interests in Dartford and now a hot shot property developer over there. Where there happens to be a convenient area ripe for some new flats or whatever they are planning and a dead body.
Although they will probably start digging it up soon and find .. nothing !
Next week seeks to be around Avani , Lily and Amy playing truant and getting into a lot of trouble. Sounds very angsty.

Yikes - I just saw a spoiler that Avani will feature in a “Met Police strip-searching children” storyline.

I think Shireen may have been supplying drugs to Harry back in the day. Teddy today said something along the lines of “who needs Shireen when he’s got his mum to get him the gear”.

I was bemused in yesterday’s episode at Sharon telling Nigel that she urgently needs to see Phil because she needs help/advice, presumably with Zack’s current predicament.

The man is getting treatment after attempting suicide and she really thinks it’s appropriate to land all this Teddy drama on him?! Phil has never liked him anyway but he has a very good radar when someone’s a wrong’un. I remember he had Reiss’ number long before anyone else suspected him.

Sharon is as selfish as they all are tbh. Only really interested in herself.
I know it’s for Martin, but these endless scenes regarding his funeral is a bit tiresome and just another plot device to include Jean n Kathy together.
lily is turning into a mouthy one like Stacey used to be when she was with Bradley / Max etc.

Lily really is her mother’s daughter. And everyone panders to her because she’s lost her dad but she was awful before Martin died.

The Slaters have always been hopeless at parenting tbh and it’s generational. Jean is a passive mum who never calls out Stacey’s appalling behaviour, Stacey in turn has little control over Lily and no doubt Charli will turn out to be a little gobshite.

Tbh mean jean is right about the funeral - Ruby has no idea what she's doing. Plus, we still don't know how she's managing to afford a childminder for her son and Martins funeral

EE have their tickboxing quota of queer men, so I think Harry will continue to be depicted as straight.

Does Ruby work ? I know she doesn’t on the square , but childminders and funerals are expensive and she lost all her money ( so she said)

Here's my prediction, I'm calling it

Harry and felix will have a fling, after felix clearly feels sorry for him for being punched by his mum 😭

He won't want felix to expose anything and Nicola will get wind - Nicola will then run him off, just like his brother was ran off

Nicola won't stay the course and her homophobia will become apparent when Harry and callum get together and she's turfed out

So I'm guessing Junior and Jumpers are planning to build properties on the site where Shireen is buried? What are the chances ey! 😅

Also, is Nigels dementia still on the down low? Everyone seems to be treating him with such contempt and only Yolande and Linda seem to be giving him any support.

Yep, a total coincidence that the one site Junior wants an investor for is the one place where Shireen’s body may lie :(
They rarely leave the square for things work related, so I assume it’ll just be spoken about and we won’t see either of them actually going to this site !

Yeah only Linda and Yolande know apart from Phil. Both looking out for him though which is lovely. It was sad today when he thought Lexi was Claire

I'm having a bad day, everyone's missing me off, especially the Nic actress who can't (act), idiotic, dopey Jean, Sharon's new puffy face, gobby Lily who's hanging out in chicken shops instead of looking after her baby, Avani and her sneery face, mean-minded Ruby and her teeth and the whole Cath/Harvey thing, grim.
