Yes, thought it was great casting. Haven’t seen this weeks episodes yet but saw a couple of pictures and she looks like a young Michelle!

Whoever cast Barney, who is supposed to be Zack and Nicola’s son, should take note😂

I like Vicki, despite her obligatory dark secrets. She was not wrong about Sharon!

It was annoying that Sharon and Alfie were banging on about Spencer as if he was Jesus, rather than an irritating twat we were all delighted to see the back of (well, I was anyway!) If Kat had Spencer’s phone number how come no one had ever bothered to actually call him before?

I also like Tommy’s new bro, Joel. They make a nice duo.

Lauren and Peter….zzzz…. She doesn’t want to marry him anyway, she doesn’t love him. All that palaver about Cindy was just an excuse IMO.

Lauren and Peter have no chemistry.

I wonder what’s gone wrong with Vicki and Ross that means they urgently need money? Maybe they have a business that’s in trouble. Just my guess because that would be an easy way for them to relocate back to London and easily find jobs (in the square, naturally).

What I didn't get is Sharon coming over all moral police towards Vicki and her cheating when she did the same when married to Phil with Keanu and even thought she was having his baby ffs!

They really spelt out for us that Joel is not related to Vicki (or indeed Spencer) so no doubt he can safely pursue whatever love life he wants without having to consult a complex family tree. Fresh blood enters Walford!

@Southeastdweller i agree- I think someone is chasing Ross for money back in Australia. That will be the reason they stay here. I wonder what skills they have to offer Walford

No doubt in a week they will have a house and a job in the square because it’s that easy in Walford.

Jack will have a spare flat to rent of course and Ross will be the next fruit and veg man, got to keep it in the family after all

It’s so unrealistic that nobody gets a job where they have to commute

Of course 90s throwback ( Joel) will go to Walford High with the other oiks by the end of next week and cause havoc with Tommy !
He will wear the large coat over his new uniform and steal things from the market or the mini mart

I’m not keen on Vicki, don’t think it’s odd she’s got a British accent, if we ignore the previous American one, my family in Oz and their British friends all have the same accent they went with 20 odd years later

I do find it odd they just rocked up with no warning and Sharon didn’t bat an eyelid and had enough escalopes to feed an extra three people. The comment about her having more in her fridge than she used to was weird, she said Zack is a chef but he doesn’t live there
also does she have the extra room? Are Ruby and Roman still there? It’s all very odd

I was wondering the same, although it isn't really a secret any more. I can't remember who knows, but quite a few people? Cindy, Ian, Junior? I was actually surprised to realise Peter didn't already know!

I agree - she doesnt even like him.

I can't remember Lauren ever having chemistry with anyone. Certainly not with Peter.

I thought that the mention of food ( which Sharon didn’t end up cooking in the end) was a bit of a hint of how rich she is .. although I suppose Zack brings food home from Ravi’s place maybe? No idea. He never seems to be at any of his jobs much.
It seemed a bit of a dig to me though.
However, Sharon didn’t end up giving them anything and I hope that she doesn’t give them money either ! They all seem gold diggers

I thought the mention of food was mainly to show how much time had passed since Vicki was there - Sharon is now 20 years older and a mother. You can't just have face cream and fizz in your fridge if you have a child!

Shelling, oh yes! She did mention that about the fizz etc. I think that Ross thinks they are loaded. For Sharon it’s only been a recent thing she has had money though

So it really was Kathy that attacked Cindy? I thought she was covering up for someone. That whole storyline was very badly executed.

On the Panesar family. It's such a a strange dynamic. They've all lied and hurt each other. Ravi got Suki's son who is in prison assaulted, he's kidnapped Eve, Vinny threatened Suki when he first found out about her and Eve (can't remember the full story), Priya has spied on Suki, and that's just for starters. The 2 children aren't even biologically related to Suki. I get that Nugget has been in her life for a while now but Avani hasn't. She could live a quiet peaceful live with Eve and Vinny but instead has all this involvement with people who aren't even family and who have actively tried to hurt her.

Drama is thicker than blood in Walford.

Didn’t it occur to Vicki that Sharon would ring her mum up re the money etc? Or that Ian would tell Sharon etc? She seems desperate.
.. Priya looked stunning today and I do think she likes Ian. Tommy’s look around the square with Joe (l) 90 was funny though ! So much misery though

I haven't seen today's yet. Do we think Ross is a total wrong un, or is he more of an Alfie hapless/useless 'oh dear I'm in bother' type?

I think he's an alfie type and will be there for the long haul

It's so weird for me watching Nigel, as he's my beloved professor hope for me 😄, I imagine it'll be the same watching 'fletch'

Ross doesn’t look a ‘baddie’ , but neither did Reiss at first ( bad example I know , but people liked him)
He seems a bit gormless really, but obviously in trouble financially. I suppose Joe (l) 90s mum will show up too at some stage. Be another gobby one no doubt ! Lol
